My absence was due to the fact that I was busy last year with the preparations for my cousin's wedding, which needed my human effort. However there was always inside me that restlessness to return to my publications, after that came this new year full of creativity and desire to work, however I have not been able to devote myself to my projects because my mother on March 1st suffered a fall in which she had a hip fracture, since then I have dedicated myself to take care of her body and soul.

One of these days I wanted to enter the community to see the work of each of you, I was amazed because I saw two things: first to see new people with their talent venturing into our community, that makes me very happy so I would like to invite @pricelessudy and second to find the #Needleworkyourbarbie contest, wow I felt so excited and I said to myself “no way, I have to do the impossible to participate, so hands to the needles”. I take care of all my daughters' dolls as if they were my own, it must be that the little girl from my childhood is still inside me. The barbie in particular I have kept in a special place, that's why I wanted her to be present in the contest.

I started to organize my things to see what miniatures I could get, so I took out a piece of green micro-durazno, some colored ribbons, thread, needle and scissors.

I couldn't figure out what to do with such a small piece of fabric to make a dress out of the ordinary, so I was looking at the cuts that the fabric already had, until I got the outfit for the summer with the daisy application, it is an asymmetrical dress, which I proceeded to sew the edges until I got a tight ribbon on the shoulder. I put her dress on to try it on to see if it was a good fit, then I closed the back seam, leaving an opening at the bottom.

After that first phase, I wanted to make a decoration, I thought of embroidering a daisy, I chose this flower in honor of my little daughter who is already a teenager and whose name is Rut Margarita. I remembered that several moons ago I started embroidering with silk ribbons, I didn't remember very well how the process was, but I started embroidering and my hands took me there. For a moment I realized that I didn't have any thinner ribbons to make the corsage so I had to improvise with the same thread I used to sew the dress.

It was worthy of accompanying the outfit with a hairstyle according to the occasion. So I created a small braid that followed the harmony of the colors with a blue ribbon, which I also used to tie what we call a ponytail.

Hola mi gente linda, un abrazo desde el fondo de mi corazón. Les cuento que estuve ausente por mucho tiempo, incluso perdí la cuenta de cuando fue mi última publicación. Mi ausencia se debió a que el año pasado estuve ocupada con los preparativos de la boda de mi prima, que necesitaron de mi esfuerzo humano. Sin embargo siempre estuvo dentro de mí esa inquietud por retomar mis publicaciones, después de eso llegó este nuevo año lleno de creatividad y ganas de trabajar, sin embargo no he podido dedicarme a mis proyectos debido a que mi madre el 1 de marzo sufrió una caída en la que tuvo una fractura de cadera, desde entonces me he dedicado a cuidar de su cuerpo y alma.

Un día de estos quise entrar a la comunidad para ver el trabajo de cada una de ustedes, me quedé maravillada porque vi dos cosas: primero ver gente nueva con su talento incursionando en nuestra comunidad, eso me hace muy feliz por eso me gustaría invitar a @pricelessudy y segundo encontrar el concurso #Needleworkyourbarbie, wow me sentí tan emocionada y me dije «ni modo, tengo que hacer lo imposible por participar, así que manos a las agujas». Cuido a todas las muñecas de mis hijas como si fueran mías, debe ser que la niña de mi infancia sigue dentro de mí. La barbie en concreto la tengo guardada en un lugar especial, por eso quería que estuviera presente en el concurso.

Empecé a organizar mis cosas para ver qué miniaturas podía conseguir, así que saqué un trozo de microdurazno verde, algunas cintas de colores, hilo, aguja y tijeras.

No se me ocurría que hacer con un trozo de tela tan pequeño para hacer un vestido fuera de lo común, así que estuve mirando los cortes que ya tenía la tela, hasta que conseguí el conjunto para el verano con la aplicación de la margarita, es un vestido asimétrico, al que procedí a coser los bordes hasta conseguir un lazo ajustado en el hombro. Le puse el vestido para probárselo y ver si le quedaba bien, luego cerré la costura trasera, dejando una abertura en la parte inferior.

Después de esa primera fase, quise hacer un adorno, se me ocurrió bordar una margarita, elegí esta flor en honor a mi hija pequeña que ya es una adolescente y que se llama Rut Margarita. Recordé que hace varias lunas empecé a bordar con cintas de seda, no recordaba muy bien como era el proceso, pero empecé a bordar y mis manos me llevaron hasta allí. Por un momento me di cuenta de que no tenía cintas más finas para hacer el ramillete así que tuve que improvisar con el mismo hilo que utilicé para coser el vestido.

Merecía la pena acompañar el conjunto con un peinado acorde con la ocasión. Así que creé una pequeña trenza que seguía la armonía de los colores con una cinta azul, que también utilicé para atar lo que llamamos una coleta.
