My Wrap Up for the month of June!
💕 Hello Hive Community! 💕
Last month I did my first Wrap Up, which consists of talking about all the books I read in a month, since I always bring you reviews every week, but my current reading status is usually more advanced. For the simple fact that each month I usually read 10 or more books, so by bringing 4 reviews a month nothing more, you can lose the thread. This month I was reading less than last month, as I was a bit blocked. In total there were 10 books that I liked a lot, I'll tell you a little more in the order in which I was reading them.
To start the month off on the right foot I was reading Scarred by Emily McIntire, a Dark Romance from the "Never After" saga whose stories are self-conclusive, which I loved too much and gave it 5 solid stars because it had everything good I look for in that genre. Then I did a reread of a trilogy I love called The Dark Elements by author Jennife L. Armentrout, made up of: Hell's Kiss, Hell's Sigh and Hell's Caress. This trilogy is a Romantasy that I love and has 5 stars, which I reread because I missed the male character and needed to feel that spark in the reading. Then I was picking up reading Powerless by Laurent Roberts, which I started in May, but it stymied me a bit. I think it was the weakest read of the month, which I expected to be 5 stars, but I hardly feel like I can give it 4 stars, and I do that only because of Kai Azer.
Sometime during the month I came back with another Dark Romance, a good dark one called "Hauting Adeline" by H.D Carlton, and I must say I liked it quite a bit, but I won't go in depth because it's a story for a review. Then I made a somewhat questionable decision because I decided to read "The King's Perfume" and "The King's Chains" a story that comes from Wattpad and to tell the truth I liked it a lot, but it is not finished, there is no ending and that makes me quite desperate, even so it has 4 stars. And at the end of the month I had to read something exciting, something fantasy that was very good and that was "Dawn of Onyx" by Kate Golden, a story that I loved with a fantasy world very well built, that talks about Faes and has some topics that are great, the only bad thing is that the other books are in English, so I have to learn a little more before continuing with the story. And closing with a flourish, I've been reading "The book of Azrael" by Amber V. Nicole, another fantasy with an excellently well-built world, with the premise that "you fall in love with the villain" and that each chapter is more exciting than the last. I look forward to reading a lot more this July, see you soon!
