Two things that go hand in hand - LOH Contest #190

Hey girls, it's been days since I've been here for one of the weekly contest, but this time the topics to talk about I'd like to talk about a lot. To begin with, because the topic of change encompasses things that we all go through at some point in our lives. Particularly, I always tell you the story of when I abruptly left the office job I had and had to move to being at home, but today I want to talk about something different. And not to leave out the other question, which touches on the beauty side of being a woman, and it's something as fundamental as hair.
Hey girls, hace dÃas que no paso por aquà en uno del concurso semanal, pero en esta oportunidad los temas a hablar si me fue gustarÃa bastante. Para empezar, porque el tema de los cambios engloban cosas que todos pasamos en algún momento de nuestras vidas. Particularmente, siempre les cuento la historia de cuando deje abruptamente el trabajo de oficina que tenÃa y debÃa pasar a estar en casa, pero hoy tengo ganas de hablarles de algo diferente. Y sin dejar de lado la otra pregunta, que toca el lado más beauty de ser mujer, y es algo tan fundamental como el cabello.
"Changes are inevitable, but sometimes we find it hard to adapt to them" and how right, changes almost always come to destabilize us and you have to have a lot of emotional maturity to not fall into crisis. I think my toughest changes have had to do with the times I have tried to study, but it just doesn't happen and I have to start from scratch, no matter how many times I try, I never manage to adapt to those changes. And another type of change that I find very hard is when we lose a very close friend and we have to get used to the fact that he or she is simply not there. If you had a close friend like a sister, whom you saw all the time and from one day to the next she stopped being like that, it tends to affect your routines a lot, it happened to me months ago and the truth is that adapting to it was a challenge.
"Los cambios son inevitables, pero a veces nos cuesta adaptarnos a ellos" y cuanta razón, los cambios casi siempre llegan para desestabilizarnos y hay que tener mucha madurez emocional para no caer en crisis. Creo que mis cambios más rudos han tenido que ver con las veces que he intentado estudiar, pero simplemente no sucede y tengo que empezar desde cero, no importa cuantas veces los intente, nunca logro adaptarme a esos cambios. Y otro tipo de cambio que me parece muy rudo es cuando perdemos a una amistad muy cerca y debemos acostumbrarnos a que simplemente no este. Si tenÃas una amiga tan cercana como una hermana, a la que veÃas siempre y de un dÃa para otro dejo de ser asÃ, tiende a afectar muchÃsimo a las rutinas, me paso hace meses y la verdad adaptarme fue un reto.
And, on the other hand, to touch on a more amusing topic. I have to tell you that since December 2023 I have been cutting my hair myself. My hair is my sanctuary, if I have it nice nothing can go wrong and it's already a plus for me, plus I've always liked having it long and I don't like anyone touching it. I used to have a relative who used to cut it, but he had a bad hand and it didn't grow. Then my mom started to cut it and it got better, but she didn't do it very often. And since December I decided to invent with the butterfly cut, watching tutorials and it's the hairstyle I'm wearing, which I love and I do it myself at home. Doing it is very simple, I just divide it into 3 parts and proceed to make the cuts, plus it grows a lot and is always shiny, which is great. I hope you loved learning about this, see you soon!
Y, por otro lado, para tocar un tema más divertido. Debo decirles que desde diciembre del 2023 me he estado cortando el cabello yo misma. Mi cabello es mi santuario, si lo tengo lindo nada puede salir mal y ya es un plus para mÃ, además siempre me ha gustado tenerlo largo y no me gusta que nadie lo toque. Antes un familiar me lo cortaba, pero tenÃa mala mano y no me crecÃa. Luego mi mamá paso a cortármelo y mejoro todo, pero no lo hacÃa con mucha frecuencia. Y desde diciembre decidà inventar con el butterfly cut, viendo tutoriales y es el estilo de cabello que llevo, el cual me encanta y me lo hago yo sola en casa. Hacerlo es muy sencillo, solo me lo divido en 3 partes y procedo a hacer los cortes, además me crece bastante y siempre está brillante, lo cual es genial. Most changes affect our emotions and that's one of the reasons why we find it hard to adjust when people we care about or consider part of our lives go away or stop being one, like your friend. Hope you meet another :)
