WHAT I COULD NOT FORGET ABOUT THIS YEAR

I still can not believe that the year is coming to an end. We have less than a week before the new year. It's been a long (no, I mean, a short, really quick) past few months, and my heart is filled with gratitude for everything that has happened thus far.

A lot of what fills me with gratitude is that I had a good year, and good stuff happened. Not to forget that I, my family, and my friends are in health and thriving. What can compare to that?

This year was the year that I rounded up my university education. It's been a long time coming. Finishing up my project and writing my final exams made me reflect on time past and how it took me a while longer to get into the university when a lot of my mates were either finishing up or about to. I do not make comparisons between me and anyone or between people, but I'm just saying.

From having to write JAMB(joint admissions and matriculation board) exams a few times and performing really well but not getting the course of my choosing, to finally just taking the course that was available because I needed to be on the move, to studying really hard to increase my cgpa and also taking jamb because I couldn't imagine forfeiting those past years just to settle for something I did not want.

Amidst strikes and covid-19 and all of school and life, brouhaha, especially in my final year, I finished well. Between writing my projects and final exams, I almost was in a fix, but I got past that. I could not forget that this year was good to me.

Also, this year, I made more money than I ever had. I know that this was a result of my hard work cause i worked tirelessly into the night, sometimes working from dusk until dawn without sleep and without stepping out of the house. It was like a marathon, but I gave it my all. It did not end, and with earning for myself, I also helped students, friends, and even family to earn just the way I did. More like I had them work for me and paid them really well. Their earnings per job, sometimes daily and on some other occasions depending on the terms and requirements of the job, were what some people earned monthly.

If not for anything, I was glad I could help people get past. Having people appreciate me for helping them through was good enough. Being able to earn so much and having the knowledge to get through the job was amazing. A lot of good things happened to me this year, but I will not forget that this year made me a graduate as well as made me so much earnings than I ever had.

In so many ways than i could begin to list out, this was a goid year.
