Hi @amazingdrinks friends. I really enjoy your community and your mini contests!!!!! Let's go with round #3 Your favorite infusion (or tea). Teas or infusions are very good, especially in the middle of winter because it helps to calm the cold and anxiety.
For this round I tell you about a very good anti-inflammatory tea. In addition to the anti-inflammatory properties it has, it helps you to: improve brain quality; enrich digestive health; strengthen the immune system; has antioxidant properties; improve skin health because it has antiviral and antibacterial properties. It's amazing!
How to make it? In a cup place a teaspoon of turmeric, a pinch of black pepper and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. In a pot, boil water and when it is boiling, add it to the cup with the mixture. Cover and let it sit for a few minutes. I take it very early in the morning during fasting. Cheers! be
Turmeric is one of the most used foods in Ayurvedic medicine for healing. It is useful for: treating gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases, it also prevents cardiovascular diseases. Black pepper helps control insulin, so it can help you improve blood sugar levels. Among the many benefits of olive oil, it can help control high blood pressure and lower LDL-c cholesterol (bad cholesterol).
I invite @miriannalis, @pelulacro and @lacrucita to participate in this contest.
Interesting combination. I'm a big fan of turmeric + black pepper, but I've never tried it with olive oil. Nice!
The oil allows all the good properties of turmeric to be assimilated. Acids, such as lemon or lime juice, tend to break it down.
I'm not into adding oil to my drinks, but I do add fatty liquids, like coconut milk. One step at a time 🤭❤️
Muy interesante tema y bien explicada la preparación del tè; gracias @luisacarola por compartir estas fómulas para mejorar nuestra salud.
Hi @luisacarola
