Day 13 of LUT Squats Challenge

This morning I did 50 squats before I went out for the day. Going forward my aim is to do at least 50 squats in the morning giving me enough time to recover during the day, to finish off and hopefully over achieve my target.

I did another 50 squats when I got home, and before I went to bed I wanted to give it another little push. I ended up doing 25 more sqauts before I felt my knees getting a bit tired. All in all I did 125 squats and called it a day.

Keep up the good work and effort, LUT!

I like your strategy of dividing the squats trough the day . That is a great idea! 💡(and somehow I've used a similar strategy)


Here is my update for November 14th:

Today, as yesterday, my day started very early (for some of you, right @pardinus ? AHHAHA) at 6am. Got out of bed, washed my face and teeth, and off I went to work. A normal morning, as yesterday, with a CT for a French Bulldog being changed and increased in the vertebral segment, since he had also neck pain... And BINGO! Besides his 4 lumbar hernias, another huge one between the 3rd and 4th cervical vertebrae...

Arriving home, one hour later then usual, since I decided to write the report of that particular exam right away (the dog was in a very painful situation... and the surgery was is next step. Didn't want to delay it... poor "dogo").

Toke my usual coffee, and off I went to the gym by foot. Today was the upper body workout (chest, triceps, and shoulders). I started with a first set of 40 squats, between the sets from the chest press machine, and I felt pretty lousy, I must confess it. So I decided to change a little bit my strategy, and passed to sets of 20 squats each... and I made it nineteen of them! That summed up with the first 40 it makes 420 Squats!

Desmond Tutu once wisely said that “there is only one way to eat an elephant: a bite at a time.”

I followed his advise!

And I broke my record!

Day 6: 150 Squats
Day 7: 240 Squats
Day 8: 200 Squats
Day 9: 120 Squats
Day 10: 304 Squats
Day 11: 200 Squats
Day 12: 260 Squats
Day 13: 400 Squats
Day 14: 420 Squats
Total: 2294 Squats.... To go: 706!

Every time that I find a goal, and that I see it coming closer, it is super thrilling for me to do the "daily task". I remember when I made "O Camiño de Santiago", everyday was so exciting, because I was seeing the number of kilometers going down! If I reach the goal earlier, I will continue to making my daily squats! I'll never let you guys and gal ;)
