Ladies of Hive Contest #168 (ESP/ENG)

Hello How are you? this is my first post of the year in this community, I am fully prepared to participate in the contest, in this case answering one of the three questions offered to me, as some of you know I like this very much because I consider it an exercise for the soul and mind, I really encourage you to participate because it is an enriching experience.

Of course I remember one day that made me particularly happy, actually two, firstly it was when my parents announced that I was going to have a baby brother or sister. I was an only child for 10 years and I always felt the need to have someone close to me, specifically a sibling, I always played with my cousins and sometimes they slept over at home but I felt it wasn't the same, even though I was a happy child, I felt lonely somehow, so I constantly asked my parents for a little brother or sister, and finally they gave me the big news, so you can imagine how happy I was.

And the second happiest day was when she was finally born, she was the most beautiful baby in the world, when I saw her I couldn't believe it yet, I felt so happy, at my 10 years old I felt that I should always protect her and that I wanted her to be very happy too, even though she was very small I loved to play with her, I made faces and she laughed with that cute little baby laugh, I loved to bathe her, comb her hair and play with her always.

And even though as I grew up and became a teenager we started to argue a lot over silly things (she would take my make-up, make a lot of noise when I was trying to study or when I was talking to my friends) I still loved her very much and have always considered her a very important part of my life. She was a very intelligent and cheerful girl, so she filled my days with light.

Today we both love each other very much, and even though I am the older sister, I feel that she is the one who protects and contains me in many ways, I love her with all my heart and I will always be grateful to her for everything she does for me, she brightened my days and helped me overcome the death of my grandmother whom I loved so much, so she was definitely a significant change in my life and a reason for happiness since I knew she was coming into this world.

Hola ¿Qué tal? este es mi primer post del año en esta comunidad, estoy completamente preparada para participar en el concurso, en este caso respondiendo una de las tres preguntas que me ofrecen, como algunos de ustedes saben esto me gusta mucho porque lo considero un ejercicio para el alma y la mente, de verdad los animo a participar porque es una experiencia enriquecedora.

Por supuesto que recuerdo un día que me hizo particularmente feliz, en realidad dos, en primer lugar fue cuando mis padres me anunciaron que yo iba a tener un hermanito o hermanita. Yo fui hija única por 10 años y siempre sentí la necesidad de tener a alguien cerca de mi, específicamente un hermano, siempre jugaba con mis primos y algunas veces se quedaban a dormir en casa pero yo sentía que no era lo mismo, a pesar de que era una niña feliz, yo me sentía sola de alguna manera, de modo que constantemente le pedía a mis padres un hermanito o hermanita, y finalmente ellos me dieron la gran noticia, así que ustedes pueden imaginar lo feliz que yo estaba.

Y el segundo día más feliz fue cuando ella finalmente nació, era la bebé más hermosa del mundo, cuando la vi no podía creerlo aún, me sentí muy feliz, a mis 10 años de edad sentí que debía protegerla siempre y que quería que ella fuera muy feliz también, a pesar de que ella era muy pequeña me encantaba jugar con ella, hacía muecas y ella se reía con esa risita tan tierna de los bebés, me gustaba bañarla, peinarla y jugar con ella siempre.

Y a pesar de que a medida que fui creciendo y me volví una adolescente comenzamos a discutir mucho por cualquier tontería (ella tomaba mi maquillaje, hacía mucho ruido cuando yo intentaba estudiar o cuando yo hablaba con mis amigas) igualmente yo la quería muchísimo y siempre la he considerado parte importantísima de mi vida. Ella era una niña muy inteligente y alegre, así que llenó de luz mis días.

Hoy en día ambas nos queremos mucho, y a pesar de que yo soy la hermana mayor, siento que es ella quien me protege y contiene en muchos sentidos, la amo con todo mi corazón y siempre estaré agradecida con ella por todo lo que hace por mi, alegró mis días y me ayudó a superar la muerte de mi abuelita a quien yo quería tanto, así que ella definitivamente fue un cambio significativo en mi vida y un motivo de felicidad desde que supe que vendría a este mundo.

Y bien, esto ha sido todo por hoy, muchísimas gracias por toda su atención y por permitirme participar en este concurso, les envío muchas bendiciones para este año nuevo, que sus vidas siempre estén llenas de luz y felicidad.
