This is my first post in this community which I did not know about, but upon seeing the post made by @phoenixwren I thought it was a very nice contest because I think we can all agree that animals are the purest creatures in the world that swear eternal love to you from the first moment (in their own way). Furthermore, I think the community topic is the best since for me talking about things that brighten the day a little is always a good thing to do.
So today I will talk to you about one of my greatest joys, my black angel who, despite no longer being with me, I always have in mind her lovely little face and all the love she gave me.
Her name was Blackie, because of the color, it wasn't a very creative name😅 but it just fit well. I think since I was a little girl of about five years old I was begging my dad to have a dog. I was too pushy (not to say annoying lol) and in my mind "my dream dog" was a Golden Retriever. It took about five more years for my dad to finally relent and give me the best Christmas present I've ever had.
It wasn't the dog I imagined but it was undoubtedly much more beautiful. Blackie came into my life when she was just two months old. She was a super small and calm ball of fur for a puppy. She didn't make noise or damage anything, she just ate, slept and followed you everywhere. She was the sweetest creature in the world.
I can't tell what race she was but that didn't really matter. What made me immensely happy was finally having a little animal that would become the best company. Much better than I had dreamed.
I remember that I wanted to take her everywhere and I knew that she would be happy to do so, so I was with her almost all the time, when she didn't want to be with my mother who was the one she loved the most. In the end Blackie was a joy for everyone.
Blackie was noble, active, playful and never stopped eating but not anything disgusting like dog food, it had to be chicken or nothing😅. The only time where she barked in annoyance was when someone knocked on the door of the house, otherwise she was calm, simply living like the queen of the house that she was. We all spoiled her too much.
She was a super friendly dog, in fact, it took a matter of 15 seconds for anyone she met to get stuck demanding cuddles and she wouldn't leave until the person left. But yes, she did not tolerate children much. In that way she was a lot like me hahaha. The only ones she put up with were my brothers and me.
She hated bathing, every time she had to get it was an ordeal, to the point that to avoid the fight we sometimes took her to dog grooming salons until she once bit one of the workers, giving him a wound that was not pretty at all. From then on my mom took on the challenge of bathing her because she was the one she was going to tolerate the most and wouldn't bite😅.
She loved running away from home to run around the complex where we live so I always had to run after her, who arrived very happy with her prank.
In everything, Blackie always made you smile because she was simply such a happy little animal that she spread that happiness to you effortlessly.
She died at the age of 13, being an old lady who still had a lot of energy and love to give, but life already had other plans. However, thanks to her I was able to know that animals are the most beautiful creatures on the planet, full of innocence, tenderness and that unconditional love that no other being on the planet will be able to demonstrate.
For me Blackie was all that and more. She was a furry companion who took care of me in her own way, wagging her tail with happy energy just to see me or play with me, or trying to wipe away my tears with little kisses. Blackie was the most beautiful dog in the universe. I will always keep a special piece of my heart for her, my little black angel🖤

Este es mi primer post en esta comunidad de la cual no conocía, pero al ver el post de @phoenixwren me pareció un concurso muy bonito porque creo que todos podemos coincidir en que los animales con las criaturas más puras que te juran amor eterno desde el primer momento (a su manera). Además la temática de la comunidad me parece de lo mejor puesto que para mí hablar de cosas que alegren un poco el día siempre es bueno.
Así que hoy les hablaré sobre una de mis mayores alegrías, mi ángel negro que a pesar de ya no estar conmigo siempre tengo presente su tierna carita y todo el amor que me dió.
Su nombre era Blackie, por el color, no era un nombre demasiado creativo😅 pero simplemente encajaba bien. Creo que desde que yo era una niña de apenas unos cinco años estuve rogándole a mi papá tener un perro. Era demasiado insistente (por no decir fastidiosa jajaja) y en mi mente "el perro de mis sueños" era un Golden Retriever. Tomó unos cinco años más para que mi papá por fin cediera y me diera el mejor regalo de navidad que jamás he tenido.
No era el perro que imaginaba pero sin duda alguna era muchísimo más hermosa. Blackie llegó a mi vida con apenas dos meses de nacida. Era una bolita de pelos súper pequeña y tranquila para ser una cachorra. No hacía ruido ni dañaba nada, simplemente comía, dormía y te seguía a todas partes. Era la criatura más dulce del mundo.
No sé decir qué raza era pero eso no importaba realmente. Lo que me hizo inmensamente feliz fue por fin tener a un animalito que se convertiría en la mejor compañía. Mucho mejor de lo que había soñado.
Recuerdo que quería llevarla a todos lados y sabía que ella sería feliz de hacerlo, por lo que estaba con ella casi todo el tiempo, cuando no quería estar con mi mamá quien fue a quien más quiso. Al final Blackie fue una alegría para todos.
Blackie era noble, activa, juguetona y jamás paraba de comer pero no cualquier cosa repugnante como la comida para perros, tenía que ser pollo o nada😅. El único momento donde ladraba molesta es cuando alguien tocaba la puerta de la casa, de resto estaba tranquila simplemente viviendo como la reina de la casa que era. Todos la consentíamos demasiado.
Era una perrita súper amigable, de hecho, a cualquier persona que conociera era cuestión de 15 segundos para que se quedara pegada a demandar mimos y no se alejaba hasta que la persona se fuera. Pero eso sí, no toleraba mucho a los niños. En eso se parecía a mí jajaja. A los únicos que aguantó fue a mis hermanos y a mí.
Odiaba bañarse, cada vez que tocaba era una odisea, a tal punto que para evitar la lucha a veces la llevábamos a peluquerías caninas hasta que una vez mordió a uno de los trabajadores, haciéndole una herida para nada linda. Desde ese entonces mi mamá asumió el reto de bañarla porque era a quien más iba a tolerar y no mordería😅.
Adoraba escaparse de casa para correr por toda la urbanización por lo que siempre tenía que correr detrás de ella, quien llegaba de lo más contenta con su travesura.
En todo, Blackie siempre te sacaba una sonrisa porque simplemente era un animalito tan alegre que te contagiaba esa felicidad sin esfuerzo.
Ella murió a sus 13 añitos, siendo una viejita que aún tenía mucha energía y amor para dar, pero la vida ya tenía otros planes. Sin embargo, gracias a ella pude saber que los animales son las criaturas más hermosas del planeta, llenos de inocencia, ternura y ese amor incondicional que ningún otro ser en el planeta será capaz de demostrar.
Para mí Blackie fue todo eso y más. Fue una compañera peluda que a su manera cuidaba de mí, moviendo su colita con energía feliz de verme o jugar conmigo, o intentando limpiar mis lágrimas son besitos. Blackie fue el perro más hermoso del universo. Siempre guardaré un pedacito especial de mi corazón para ella, mi angelito negro🖤

Aww, Blackie was so cute!! Such a good girl. I'm amazed she didn't like baths! Usually cats don't like them and dogs love them, but there are always exceptions I suppose!

Blackie era exigente pero tenía un corazón enorme, era una perrita demasiado dulce que vino a alegrarnos a todos durante muchos años. Fue hermoso tenerla en mi vida.
