Shadow Hunters Community Contest SMASh - Round 328

With the passage a few days ago of Hurricane Beryl through Venezuelan territorial waters, now headed to the Yucatan Peninsula in southern Mexico, the last week has been quite cloudy and with frequent drizzle, even though the city where I live is not located on the coast, rather, a couple of hours drive from the nearest beach.

Fortunately due to our distance from the Caribbean Sea, there were no emergency situations as unfortunately happened in the east of the country, for that reason this morning when I looked out over the city from my apartment, I could see a bright sun and the shadows that were projected on the pavement of the parking lot and neighboring buildings, which I took the opportunity to photograph them and share them with all of you in this new edition of the Shadows Hunters Contest.

As I have described in previous posts, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, with the aim of improving or highlighting some element of my images.

Con el paso unos días atrás del Huracán Beryl por aguas territoriales venezolanas, ahora enrumbado a la Península de Yucatán al sur de México; la última semana ha estado bastante nublada y con lloviznas frecuentes, aún cuando la ciudad donde vivo no está ubicada en la costa, más bien, alejada a un par de horas manejando de la playa más cercana.

Afortunadamente por nuestra lejanía al Mar Caribe, no se presentaron situaciones de emergencia como lamentablemente ocurrió al oriente del país, por esa razón esta mañana al asomarmea la ciudad desde mi apartamento, pude observar un sol radiante y las sombras que se proyectaban sobre el pavimento del estacionamiento y en las edificaciones vecinas, las cuales aproveché para fotografiarlas y compartirlas con todos ustedes en esta nueva edición del Shadows Hunters Contest.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, usualmente hago uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed, con el objetivo de mejorar o destacar algún elemento de mis imágenes.
