Chaque petite "patte" bleuté qui se trouve sur cette photographie est un membre d'un animal sommaire de ce qui se nomme un polype. Chaque patte peut capturer des micro-organismes et les dériger vers une bouche. La digestion donnera une matière dure qui formera le squelette de la branche rouge. |
Here is my entry for the 107th @photofeed contest on the theme of macro photography. If you’re wondering what a coral is, the answer is right in front of you. Each small bluish "paw" in this photograph is a member of an animal called a polyp. Each paw can capture microorganisms and propel them to a mouth. Digestion will give a hard material that will form the skeleton of the red branch. |
