¡Feliz día queridas damas de la colmena! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y estén teniendo un grandioso fin de semana. En este hermoso día paso por aquí para compartir con ustedes mi participación en la edición 180 del concurso semanal de esta bella comunidad y en esta ocasión quiero hablar sobre el primer tema propuesto por la amiga @kerrislravenhill, pues ha sido e que más me ha gustado y del cual tengo mucho que hablar, así que ahora sin más, ¡aquí les cuento!
Happy day dear ladies of the hive! I hope you are well and having a great weekend. On this beautiful day I'm stopping by to share with you my participation in the 180th edition of the weekly contest of this beautiful community and on this occasion I want to talk about the first topic proposed by my friend @kerrislravenhill, since it was the one I liked the most and about which I have a lot to talk, so now without further ado, here I tell you!
¿Tienes un jardín? ¿O desearías tener uno? ¿Qué te gustaría cultivar en tu pequeño paraíso?
La naturaleza es algo que siempre me ha encantado y por supuesto tener un jardín es parte de ello, este es un punto en común que tengo con mi pareja y por suerte cuando nos mudamos a nuestra propia casa juntos esta contaba con un patio trasero, el cual vimos perfecto para comenzar a cultivar y convertirlo en un lindo jardín. Tenemos casi 5 años en esta casa y durante todo este tiempo hemos cultivado muchísimos alimentos para nuestro consumo como chiles, berenjenas, patillas, melones, lechosas, flores de Jamaica, espinaca, parchita, maní cebollín, pimentón, fresas, plátano y mis favoritos los tomates cherry.
Nature is something that I have always loved and of course having a garden is part of it, this is a point in common that I have with my partner and luckily when we moved to our own house together it had a backyard, the which we saw as perfect to start cultivating and turning it into a nice garden. We have been in this house for almost 5 years and during all this time we have grown many foods for our consumption such as chili peppers, eggplants, sideburns, melons, lechesas, Jamaican flowers, spinach, passion fruit, peanuts, chives, paprika, strawberries, bananas and my favorites. Cherry tomatoes.
Además de alimentos también tenemos muchas plantas ornamentales en nuestro jardín, las cuales me gusta cuidar mucho, sin embargo, desde que tenemos a nuestro perrito Lexter esto de tener un lindo jardín se ha convertido en una misión imposible porque al parecer el no ama las plantas como nosotros, así que hemos tenido que optar por reubicar las plantas en macetas para tenerlas en una zona segura, esto nos ha tomado tiempo pero hemos avanzado mucho. De mis plantas ornamentales favoritas puedo destacar los girasoles, los cuales tuve durante un tiempo y era maravilloso poder salir al jardín y ver todas esas hermosas flores, también mis hermosas rosas que desde hace mucho no florecen pero cuando lo hacen es una verdadera belleza y por supuesto mis bellos cactus y suculentas que son perfectos incluso para tener dentro de la casa.
In addition to food, we also have many ornamental plants in our garden, which I like to take care of a lot, however, since we have our dog Lexter, having a nice garden has become an impossible mission because apparently the He doesn't love plants like we do, so we have had to choose to relocate the plants in pots to have them in a safe area, this has taken us time but we have made a lot of progress. Of my favorite ornamental plants I can highlight the sunflowers, which I had for a while and it was wonderful to be able to go out to the garden and see all those beautiful flowers, also my beautiful roses that have not bloomed for a long time but when they do it is a true beauty and therefore of course my beautiful cacti and succulents that are perfect even to have inside the house.

Hola @mariajcastro28, las fresas y los tomates, son una verdadera tentación al gusto, captaste la esencia representada en las fotografías. Qué maravilloso, que tengas para el cultivo diverso tantos elementos a tu favor como el terreno amigable a diferentes especies y el clima favorecedor, bueno a excepción del travieso Lexter, que quizás con estrategia se solvente la situación. Las flores no se quedan atrás, son hermosas, gracias por compartir.
Hola amiga, mejor no lo pudiste haber dicho. Poder cultivar alimentos en nuestro propio jardín es una verdadera maravilla, yo lo he disfrutado mucho y he llegado a cultivar tantas cosas que ni yo misma me lo creo, en especial las fresas que son tan delicadas y aun así se nos dieron. Qué lindas plantas tienes en tu jardín, lo bueno de cultivar algunas cosas es que te ahorras algo de dinero al no tener que comprar ciertos productos vegetales y además te aseguras de comer realmente sano, pues, la mayoría de vegetales que encontramos en los mercados han sido tratados con productos químicos residuales. Me encantaron tus fotos, sobre todo las del girasol. ¡Un abrazo!
Hola, la verdad es bastante satisfactorio poder cultivar en mi propio jardín y aunque es pequeño lo hemos aprovechado al máximo y hemos podido cosechar de todo un poco y lo mejor es como dices, es más sano porque va directo de nuestro jardín a la mesa. ¡Es una maravilla! 😊 Yo extraño tener girasoles, pero por ahora no es posible tenerlos porque el perrito acaba con todo jajaja. Un abrazo de vuelta! 🤗
