El primero de noviembre ya algunos centros comerciales capitalinos tenían su árbol listo y decorado, otros durante esa semana terminaron de hacer los arreglos, pero ya todos tienen su respectivo y arbolito.

Este año me llamo la atención el encendido de los árboles en los centros comerciales, uno fue el de CC Recreo Caracas donde a la cuenta regresiva ilumino el gran árbol de luces blancas y que su mensaje fue iluminar el camino de todos.

Otro encendido de árbol fue en el CC Sambil La Candelaria, un árbol más pequeño que estaba patrocinado por la marca Coca Cola, el conteo regresivo estaba acompañado con dos pantallas que animaban a los asistentes a corear y gritar Feliz Navidad dando inicio a esta época festiva.

La verdad es que no se si en otros centros comerciales hicieron eso, yo por primera vez que lo veo en mi ciudad.

A diferencia de años anteriores, se siente un ambiente navideño en las calles, veremos que pasa en el transcurrir de estos próximos días.

Estaba conversando con los suegros de mi hermana precisamente de los arbolitos de navidad y las decoraciones de la casa. Tengo ganas de hacer algo diferente este año y adornar toda la casa de mi mama, hacer una pijamada navideña… creo que a mi cuñado no le va a gustar la idea… pero al final él se adapta, después les cuento si al final lo concreto.

Regalos, compras y también compartir en familia es lo que me recuerdan esos grandes árboles en las plazas, centros comerciales y en la entrada de la residencia, que por cierto tenemos que bajar a decorarlo el próximo fin de semana.

Y no olvidar las festividades religiosas y tradicionales de la fecha, porque eso es parte de nuestra identidad como venezolanos.

On November 1st, some shopping malls in the capital already had their tree ready and decorated, others during that week finished making the arrangements, but all of them already have their respective tree.

This year I was struck by the lighting of the trees in the malls, one of them was the CC Recreo Caracas where the countdown illuminated the big tree of white lights and its message was to illuminate the way for everyone.

Another tree lighting was at the CC Sambil La Candelaria, a smaller tree that was sponsored by the Coca Cola brand, the countdown was accompanied by two screens that encouraged attendees to chant and shout Merry Christmas to start this festive season.

The truth is that I don't know if in other malls they did that, I for the first time I see it in my city.

Unlike previous years, there is a Christmas atmosphere in the streets, we will see what happens in the course of the next few days.

I was having a conversation with my sister's in-laws about Christmas trees and decorations for the house. I want to do something different this year and decorate my mom's house, have a Christmas sleepover... I think my brother-in-law is not going to like the idea... but in the end he will adapt, I'll tell you later if I finally do it.

Gifts, shopping and also sharing with family is what reminds me of those big trees in the plazas, shopping malls and at the entrance of the residence, which by the way we have to go down to decorate it next weekend.

And do not forget the religious and traditional festivities of the date, because that is part of our identity as Venezuelans.
