Hoy les traigo mi entrada al concurso de esta semana, hablando de las tres películas que vería en un fin de semana. Siendo sincera, me resultó difícil escoger, no porque sea una cinéfila que haya visto miles de películas en su vida, sino más bien porque no soy de ver películas.

He visto muchas, si, pero no soy de buscar en Netflix una película para ver o repetir, al menos no en esta etapa de mi vida, ahora prefiero las series. Por ello, pensar en una película resultó algo complicado, y una vez que fui recordando películas que me han gustado mucho, ya no lograba decidirme jsjsjs.

Pero bueno, sin más dilación, ¡comenzemos!:

Es una saga de peliculas inspirada en la serie de libros escrita por Stephenie Meyer. No pude escoger una sola de las 5 películas. Al inicio no entendía el hype que tenia la gente con esta saga, pero una vez que la inicié años atrás no pude evitar quedar totalmente enganchada a este mundo de vampiros.

Para el que a estas alturas no conozca de esta saga, trata sobre la vida de Bella Swan, una adolescente que se muda a vivir a Forks en Estados Unidos con su padre. Ella se convierte en la sensación del pueblo, la novedad, y sin ser una persona demasiado carismática logra ganarse la atención de todos, cuando desearía todo lo contrario. Un día conoce a Edward Cullen, un chico que desde el primer día muestra desagrado por ella, pero ¿por qué? Eso lo descubren al seguir la historia. Claramente sabemos que Edward es un vampiro, pero ¿Qué hará Bella al descubrirlo?

La primera película es la más extraña de las 5, tiene un aire más experimental con su filtro azul y la música melancólica todo el rato jsjsjs, siendo las demás quizás más "comerciales", no sé si me explico, pero al ser la más tranquila de todas, quizás sería la más adecuada para un fin de semana tranquilo, lleno de misterio sobrenatural y romance, sobretodo romance.

It is a saga of movies inspired by the book series written by Stephenie Meyer. I couldn't pick just one of the 5 movies. At the beginning I didn't understand the hype people had with this saga, but once I started it years ago I couldn't help but get totally hooked to this vampire world.

For those who by now don't know about this saga, it's about the life of Bella Swan, a teenager who moves to live in Forks in the United States with her father. She becomes the sensation of the town, the novelty, and without being a very charismatic person, she manages to win the attention of everyone, when she wishes the opposite. One day she meets Edward Cullen, a boy who from the first day shows dislike for her, but why? You find that out as you follow the story. Clearly we know that Edward is a vampire, but what will Bella do when she finds out?

The first movie is the strangest of the 5, it has a more experimental air with its blue filter and melancholic music all the time jsjsjs, the others being perhaps more “commercial”, I don't know if I explain myself, but being the quietest of all, perhaps it would be the most suitable for a quiet weekend, full of supernatural mystery and romance, especially romance.

Esta es una película animada que cuenta la historia de Rapunzel,

una chica que vive encerrada en una torre junto a su madre Gothel, quien en realidad es una bruja que raptó a Rapunzel de bebé por tener el don de rejuvenecer y sanar a las personas. Y de paso, es la princesa del reino. 18 años después, Rapunzel conoce a un ladrón llamado Flynn Ryder que la hará descubrir el mundo exterior y su verdadera identidad.

Es de mis princesas favoritas de Disney, y desde que salió la película siempre la repetía en el dvd cuando era niña. Me encantan las canciones, es divertida y siempre amé a la pareja. Es una película muy entretenida y reconfortante de ver, y de paso para toda la familia. Si quieres un fin de semana romántico, con algo de diversión y mucha música, esta es tu película.

This is one of my favorite Disney princesses, and ever since the movie came out I always replayed it on dvd as a kid. I love the songs, it's funny and I always loved the couple. It's a very entertaining and heartwarming movie to watch, and great for the whole family in passing. If you want a romantic weekend, with some fun and lots of music, this is the movie for you.

Y terminamos con una comedia. Realmente creo que cualquier comedia protagonizada por Jim Carrey vale la pena para echarse varías carcajadas de las buenas.

Aquí seguimos a un hombre llamado Bruce que trabaja en un noticiero y tiene una novia de hace varios años, pero el cual está insatisfecho con su vida. Un día conoce a Dios, representado por Morgan Freeman, quien le da todos sus poderes para poder ser Dios por un corto tiempo luego de que Bruce le retara diciendo que podía ser mejor que él y mejorar las vidas de todos. Sin embargo, Bruce se da cuenta de que ser Dios no es tarea fácil, además de que usa dichos dones para fines egoístas y lo acaba perdiendo todo.

A pesar de ser una comedia, logra hacerte reflexionar sobre tu vida y la fe en Dios, entendiendo que no podemos dejarle las riendas de nuestra vida a Dios, sino que a través de él y la fe que le tenemos es que nosotros podemos tomar las riendas de nuestra propia vida. Les dejo una de las mejores frases de la película:

“Muchos quieren que haga todo por ellos, pero no entienden que ellos tienen el poder. ¿Quieres un milagro, hijo? Sé el milagro”.

And we end with a comedy. I really believe that any comedy starring Jim Carrey is worth a few laughs.

Y eso ha sido todo por hoy. Las películas las escogí pensando en que en un fin de semana quisiera ver un romance que caliente mi corazón, un misterio que lo agite, y una comedia que lo aligere y llene de risas.
