Entry For The Shadow Contest/Smash 350

Travelled a few days ago and stayed at a friend's place. It was a local vicinity, but I marvelled at the rate at which foodstuffs were cheap there. And also, they barely steal there. You can go to work, leave your doors open, and come back with all your properties still intact.

I asked how it was possible and was told the elders of the community lay a curse that whoever steals will die instantly at the crime scene. I don't know how possible it is and don't want to, but trust me, it has been effective.

I can't tell if I like the community, but I'll definitely visit again because of the security.
