Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh.

Shadow has its own great way of bringing out beauty in everything. Shadows tell stories and that's why I don't let any shadow image(s) I see go uncaptured. I was taking a walk when I saw these beautiful shadows.

The sun was scorching and the canopy this tree offered was what reminded me of shadows. The branch is where everyone finds comfort when the sun is harsh.

Still the same day, I met a little boy standing by the untarred road, his shadow was clearly visible on the dusty ground. The innocence on his face was what I found on this image. I read a lot of meaning to this photo the day I took it. One is that our shadow is our first soulmate.

Then the last, another tree casting a shadow on the tarred road. But this picture is quite different from the shadow the first image created. This tree has two patterns, light from the sun and the shadow making it two combinations of light and shade.
