Fufy in Black and White

Hello friends kitty lovers, today I want to introduce you to Fufy, no, she is not my pet, although I love kittens unfortunately for now I am not allowed to have pets where I live rented, but fortunately I have friends who have pets and among them is Fufy.

Fufy is a 15-year-old kitten who came to Spain from Venezuela with her owner, my dear friend Emilia, in search of a new life. Together they have faced the change of country, the passing of time, and the challenges that feline old age brings, but they have always done it with the company and love that only a faithful pet can offer.

Hola amigos amantes de los gatitos, hoy quiero presentarles a Fufy, no, no es mi mascota, aunque me encantan los gatitos desafortunadamente por ahora no se me es permitido tener mascotas donde vivo alquilada, pero afortunadamente tengo amigas que tienen mascotas y entre ellas está Fufy.

Fufy es una gatita de 15 años que llegó a España desde Venezuela junto a su dueña, mi querida amiga Emilia, en busca de una nueva vida. Juntas han enfrentado el cambio de país, el paso del tiempo y los desafíos que trae consigo la vejez felina, pero lo han hecho siempre con la compañía y el amor que solo una mascota fiel puede ofrecer.

On the weekend I went to visit my friend and Fufy was there with her, when she comes to visit she hides in the closet or under the bed, my friend tells me that Fufy has always been a bit surly with strangers. Despite her small size and clumsy gait, she does not allow anyone to approach her. For her, trust is a treasure given to only a few, and if you get to know her well you will discover that behind her apparent coldness hides a heart full of love and loyalty.

Fufy is all affection with her owner when she starts to feel confident with the visitor, she comes out of her hiding place and settles in her lap, in those moments of tranquility, she purrs with a softness that seems to want to say "thank you".

I tried to pet her but she scratched me so I learned to give her her space, I took several pictures, only when she was quiet because she didn't want to see me so I teased her until she gave up and that's when I took the opportunity to make this photo session.

El fin de semana fui a visitar a mi amiga y Fufy estaba ahí con ella, cuando llega visita ella se esconde en el clóset o debajo de la cama, mi amiga me cuenta que Fufy siempre ha sido un tanto arisca con los extraños. A pesar de su pequeño tamaño y su andar torpe, no permite que cualquiera se acerque. Para ella, la confianza es un tesoro que se otorga solo a unos pocos, y si llegas a conocerla bien descubrirás que detrás de su aparente frialdad se esconde un corazón lleno de amor y lealtad.

Fufy es todo cariño con su dueña cuando ya empieza a sentir confianza con la visita sale de su escondite y se acomoda en su regazo, en esos momentos de tranquilidad, ronronea con una suavidad que parece querer decir "gracias".

Yo traté de acariciarla pero me lanzó un arañazo así que aprendí a darle su espacio, le hice varias fotos, solo cuando se quedaba tranquila porque no quería verme así que la fastidie hasta que se rindió y fue entonces cuando aproveché para hacerle esta sesión de fotos.

My friend tells me that over the years, Fufy has changed in many ways. She has gained weight, which is inevitable when she spends more time sleeping than running after butterflies. Her energy has decreased and so has her desire to play, she has been to the vet several times for various illnesses and just wants to lie in her little bed or on her human mom's lap. However, she still has that sparkle in her green eyes that seems to say that even though her body is aging, her spirit is as strong as ever.

Mi amiga me dice que a lo largo de estos años, Fufy ha cambiado en muchas formas. Ha ganado peso, algo inevitable cuando se pasa más tiempo durmiendo que corriendo tras mariposas. Su energía ha disminuido y sus ganas de jugar también, ha estado varias veces en el veterinario por diferentes enfermedades y solo quiere estar echada en su camita o en el regazo de su mamá humana. Sin embargo, aún mantiene ese brillo en sus ojos verdes que parece decir que, aunque su cuerpo esté envejeciendo, su espíritu sigue tan fuerte como siempre.
