Vibes Web 3 Music Competition Week 23; A Cover of "When We Were Young" by Adele.
I once heard someone say, "If Adele sang about bread, I would still find the song melodious and catchy." I laughed so hard because that really resonates with me as well. I've been a fan of Adele for a long time, but it never occurred to me that I would one day attempt to sing her songs for others to hear.
Why did I choose this particular song? It portrays a love affair that ended abruptly, leaving unresolved feelings. It captures the story of someone who still yearns for the love of an ex-lover. This narrative doesn't conclude with the "happily ever after" we typically expect from Nollywood films. Perhaps we watch too many of them and forget that real love stories may not fit the neat conclusions we have imagined in our heads.
