My great experience during our Girls Scout|Day 1

Hello,hello,hellooo my hiver's! It's your melcakes again!.Welcome,welcome to my blog.Today I will share our weekend experience at the beach.Come with me as I share the place and my experience throughout our short get away at the beach .Have a good time reading my hiver's 😊

Our school held a program lately which is the Girls Scout of the Philippines program which is normally held every school year.Girls scout program helps students to show their potential to be productive and to challenge students to stand on their own also there are fun activities and challenges during the program.

I am a type of person who likes to be in physical activity. So I didn't hesitate to join the event where we will stay in our school for 3 days for camping.

Before our camping we enhanced our tent.Yes, we already had our tent since before our Girls Scout the Boys Scout was happened and they already made a tent which we are using for our camping.We make a mini pantry where we put our food.

When I was in Junior High School during our Girls Scout we will make our own tent which is challenging but also with the assistant of the elders.Building your own tent was a bit of challenge at the same time you will feel fulfilled after.

I was the group leader and our patrol name was Saging(Banana).In the first day the troop leader challenge us in sign language, she will give us the hand sign and we will guess what does it mean by doing the action like she will give us the hand sign of “leaders come here" and the leaders in every patrol will go to the troop leader.

While she was challenging us we don't know some of the hand sign so we only copy what action of other patrol group will take hahahahah.

After it we proceed to our tent practicing the knot tying and while we are practicing the troop leader give us a hand sign that means "leaders come here" I immediately come to the troop leader holding our emblem that has our patrol name. The troop leader told us to choose 2 members for the inspection of knot tying,2 members for the egg game and 2 members for the sweet potato game. After the instructions we proceed to our tent where our members are waiting, so I immediately rely the message that the troop leader told us.

After it the troop leader call all the patrol leader with their members to fall in line for the knot tying and my 2 members that will represent our patrol was in front for the inspection. After it we proceed to the game which is the egg game and potato game.

The guidelines for the egg games, the participants will cook the egg using the plastic with water. The participants will make the water boiled while the egg was inside the plastic so that the egg will be cooked.

During the egg game we help our 2 representative to find a wood with a Y formed and after it they put a water inside the plastic and put the egg inside. After putting a water they tie it into the wood and put it to the Y formed wood while the fire was under it.

For the sweet potato game guidelines, the participants will cooked the sweet potato without using a pan or anything that can be used in cooking they will only dug up a soil and put all the potato and water. After it, the participants will put back the soil and make a fire above it so that the sweet potato will be cooked.

Everyone is using their different techniques like the other team they are putting a lot of wood above the potato so that the sweet potato will be cooked. While the other team is putting moderate water together with the sweet potato.

After of such an challenging game we proceed to our tent for our lunch. I was the one who cook for our lunch while some of my members was assigned to do the water carrier, washing the dishes and clean the tent.

Our lunch was noodles and dried fish also to make our noodles more tasteful I add a malunggay ( horseradish)which is from our school garden. After it we eat immediately and after eating the assigned group do their assignment.

During the night every patrol group was busy helping their co-members who will represent their team for the Ms. GSP.

I completely had fun as I cheer our representative shouting our patrol name and dancing with my members as our representative sang the chorus of her song.

Everyone was having their wide smiles as our representative had her best walk for her recycled attire, while having her best walk she was holding a banana and every time she had her pose she will eat the banana where everyone was having their wide smiles ,although she doesn't got the best in recycled attire but the entertainment that she give us left us a big smile and that's make him the winner for us.

Everyone was enjoyed as the participants had their best walk for their complete uniform of Girls Scout. Our representative got the top 3 for Ms. GSP 2024.

After the Ms.Gsp we proceed to our designated rooms where we will sleep. I was very excited to have a sleepover with my co-scouters.
