We have been experiencing frequent heavy rains and storms. I am appreciating that I don't need to water the potted plants on the deck and that the woods are looking green and lush, but I am also seeing the river levels rise. To prevent erosion, when the water levels are high boats are restricted from creating wakes and I saw yesterday that No Wake Warnings have been issued.

This reflection photo was taken during a rain shower along Chicago's lake shore. This double lane bike trail is usually filled with people in both directions.

This reveals a beautiful thing about you. you try to be cheerful even in a bad situation by thinking of some advantages that could result from it, or thinking that it is not as bad as it could have been. It's really a beautiful habit. I likes all the reflections especially the windows on the road. :)

Thanks so much! I always do have a glass half full attitude, I guess. It also causes me to see the world and other people through rose colored glasses, and I've been told more than once it is not alway a good thing on Hive!

Great reflections. Hearing about the heavy rainfall makes me feel bad. I will pray that everything turns out alright. Here, we are experiencing extreme heat.

I'm sure by August it will be hot and dry and we will be hoping for rain! People often say, 'If you don't like the weather in Wisconsin just wait a minute and it will change"

I was almost fooled by the photo of the puddle. After I looked in more detail it turned out it was just a reflection😃
