Today, I’m singing “Arcade,” the winning song from the 2019 Eurovision contest by Dutch artist Duncan Laurence.🎶

@leonardo.audio chose this song because he thought it would sound great with my voice. So, this time, since I didn’t know the complete song, I had to learn it in less than 2 days to be able to record it and participate within this week’s theme.

You can imagine it was quite a challenge for me… But I did it! I learned the song in 2 days.😅

On the first day, I listened to the song to learn the melody. Then I focused on the lyrics, which were actually the most complicated part for me, as it usually happens. Finally, I adjusted everything to the appropriate vocal technique and the necessary intention to interpret this theme.

On the second day, recording day, after setting up, I had to do several takes, make mistakes, and take breaks by watching a series to relax because I got quite tense at one point. But after the break, and coming back, I nailed it in a single take.

Moreover, I realized that Leo was right: this song suits me beautifully, and it allowed me to use my vocal range in a different way, lots of chest voice, belting, and mixed voice, to create an incredibly satisfying result.

I’m very happy and proud of myself for achieving this so suddenly and having such a beautiful outcome. And I’m very grateful to Leo for believing in me and recommending this lovely song.💜

This song is about the struggle to find love and how loving someone can sometimes feel like a lost game. Although I don’t currently resonate with this theme, I can tell you that moving away from loving the wrong person, even if it appears to others as a lost game, is actually a victory.

The most beautiful thing about love is loving the right people.✨

¡Hola! Bienvenidos a mi blog. Esta es mi participación en la Vibes Web3 Music Competition en su semana 10. 💜

Hoy les canto “Arcade”, la canción ganadora del concurso Eurovision en el año 2019 del neerlandés Duncan Laurence.🎶

@leonardo.audio eligió esta canción porque le pareció que quedaría genial en mi voz. Por lo tanto, esta vez, como no conocía la canción completa, tenía que aprenderla en menos de 2 días para poder grabarla y participar dentro de la temática de esta semana.

Se pueden imaginar que fue un gran reto para mí… ¡Pero lo logré! Me aprendí la canción en 2 días.😅

El primer día la pasé escuchando la canción para aprender la melodía. Luego me enfoqué en la letra, que en realidad para mí fue lo más complicado, como suele suceder. Finalmente, ajusté todo eso a la técnica vocal adecuada y a la intención necesaria para interpretar esta temática.

El segundo día, día de la grabación, después de ajustar el set, tuve que hacer varias tomas, equivocarme y descansar viendo una serie para relajarme, porque en un momento me puse muy tensa. Pero después del descanso, y al volver, en una sola toma me salió.

Además, me di cuenta de que Leo tenía razón: esta canción me queda hermosa y me permitió usar mi rango vocal de una manera distinta, mucha voz de pecho, belting y voz mixta, para que todo calzara de una manera increíblemente satisfactoria.

Estoy muy feliz y orgullosa de mí por lograr hacer esto tan de repente y que el resultado sea tan bonito. También estoy muy agradecida con Leo por creer en mí y por recomendar esta hermosa canción.💜

Esta canción trata sobre la lucha por encontrar el amor y cómo amar a alguien puede convertirse en un juego perdido. Aunque no resuene actualmente con esta temática, puedo decirles que salir de amar a la persona equivocada, y que eso quede hacia la mirada del resto como un juego perdido, en realidad es una victoria.

Lo más hermoso del amor es amar a las personas correctas.✨
