Even though most of my close friends live far away, they never stop checking in on me or messaging me on WhatsApp.
I'm also thankful for my children, who are quite understanding and undoubtedly know that I'm a single mother. I know they grew up nicely despite the fact that they did not have a father figure.
I wish you a Happy New Year as well, and hope that this year brings you nothing more than a blessing from God.
