Ladies of Hive Community Contest #138 - My Beloved Father
For this week's Ladies of Hive contest entry, I chose to honor my dad.
If you had a beloved "father figure" in your life (father, grandfather, uncle, family friend, employer, etc.) and would like to recognize them with a story, we'd love to hear it!
To my beloved father who has been there for all of his family through thick and thin. A man of great integrity and kindness. He has been a significant role model for both my brother and I. We are so lucky to have you in our lives. Thank you so much!
My father is a good man. I'm sure my grandparents had a lot to do with that as well as his time in the service. As a veteran of the United States Air Force, he is not only the most honest man I know, but his values and morals are set to a very high standard as well.
Below is an old picture taken way back during the Vietnam War in 1971. His job in the Air Force was to work on the electrical components of the aircrafts. He is now a retired Electrical Engineer.
Our Family
My dad married my mom in 1968. My bother was born in 1969 and then I came along in 1973. We grew up in East Tennessee. Both of my parent's came from large families so we had quite the extended family of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Family is the most important thing in our lives. I cherish my family.

Quick question... I'm fairly new to HIVE and need some direction. How do I "power-up" my earnings in LIST tokens? Thank you so much!
Two ways to do it. I will show you the easier method first where you can power-up all the tokens you have.
Go to https://tribaldex.com/wallet, sign-up and click on the (stake) button shown in the image below and fill the blank space in the pop-up and click the "Stake" button.
Staking and powering-up means the same.
The second method is to sign-in to your https://www.hivelist.org/ page, go to wallet and then click on the downward arrow besides the liquid LIST amount. When you click the arrow it will display the dropdown you see in the picture below. Then click on "stake" to power-up your liquid LIST tokens. After that the liquid LIST will be transferred to LIST Power row. You can stake only your LIST token by this method.
