I absolutely love this community! I have learned so much about making collages from many of your posts. There are so many amazing artist here. Art is one of the ways I choose to relax and this opportunity has been much needed. Thank you so much @lmac

Image editing with inPixio online software

The first edit to the original image I did was to alter the background with inPixio online software. I like to try out different online programs for making art, each one is unique. They have a really cool tool that is free to use that removes and changes the background of an image. I wanted to change the background from day to night so it fit my dreamy theme. There are only 8 background changes to choose from with the free software but they are all pretty cool. The one that added fire was particularly awesome!

I added all of the images below to create the collage with Adobe Express. I removed the background from both the unicorn and child fairy. The Adobe Express online software is completely free to use. I love this program. It is so easy to navigate and the background removal tool is almost seamless!

Next, I chose images from the LIL including a green crystal, a pocket watch and a moon image. All together with the unicorn and fairy, I created a fantastical dreamscape. I altered each of the below images to fit with my theme. I blurred the crystals ever so slightly with the Adobe software. For the clock, I changed the filter to Duotone to give it a blue hue. As for the moon, I simply darkened the image so the craters were more pronounced.

⚜️⚜️⚜️ I love the finished collage. Don't you? I hope you enjoyed reading about how I transformed the original image into a dreamy forest. My favorite part is the child fairy doing cartwheels on the pocket watch. I had so much fun creating my collage for this contest. Good luck to everyone who enters!
