Wallpaper Worth Pictures in ROTR

Hey everyone!

Today's post is my entry for the contest by @gamingphoto with the theme "Wallpaper Worth Picture" As far as I remember, I haven’t joined this theme before. There are actually a lot of themes I missed, and this is one of them. So, this time, I’m joining the fun!

For this contest, I’ll be playing my newest game, Rise of the Ronin. I’m uploading both a desktop wallpaper version and a mobile wallpaper version. Since the screenshots are quite big, it was a challenge to find the right angle for the mobile version.

While taking as many screenshots as possible, I traveled as far as I could to reach Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, there were locked gates and steep cliffs blocking my way, so I couldn’t get there. Most of my shots ended up being around Yokohama City.

🎮📸 First Screenshot

I was on my way towards Mount Fuji and ended up following a river by accident. The view was stunning, and from afar, I could see Mount Fuji in the background. At this point, I was really hoping I could reach it.

I arrived at a village occupied by enemies. After clearing them out, the villagers returned, and the place became peaceful and beautiful again.

I continued my journey toward Mount Fuji, freeing village after village from enemy control.

This particular shot was taken right after I free a village. My character was sitting, and before he could stand up, I quickly snapped the screenshot. The huge orange-leaved tree in the background, along with the peaceful village setting, made the shot look amazing.

🎮📸 Tough Battle

At one point, I ran into a massive enemy wielding an axe bigger than me. He defeated me once, but I managed to take revenge! I had no more healing items left, but somehow, this screenshot looks really cool. Sadly, it doesn’t fit properly on my phone screen, but I kept it anyway.

When I reached the edge of the map, I found a 90-degree steep high slope, locked fences, and no way to continue toward Mount Fuji. I was a bit disappointed but decided to head back to Yokohama City to find new photo spots.

🎮📸 Tallest Tower

The first thing I did was climb the tallest tower at the harbor. From there, I could see the entire city. In the mobile version, my ninja character is perfectly positioned over the Google search button, super fitting since I was literally searching for new photo spots in the game!

🎮📸 Wandering Swordsman

I got lucky and stumbled upon a Wandering Swordsman NPC with really cool pinkish-red hair! Ahh, I wish I could duel with him! Wait… I forgot to try! Next time I see him, I’m definitely try to duel him.

🎮📸 Pleasure District

The area around the pleasure district looked absolutely stunning with hanging red lanterns. This is where I first saw the Wandering Swordsman, but instead of going inside, he just walked past it. Maybe he was checking out the place before having fun later ehehe...

Look at these NPCs near the pleasure district! Their eyes say it all—they know I just took their picture! 😂 But honestly, this shot turned out really nice.

🎮📸 Wandering Around the City

I continued wandering around Yokohama City, capturing different cityscapes for the contest. Let the pictures do the talking! Sorry too many pictures, I hope you don't mind. It's already captured, so I kept them all for the eyes to see haha

🎮📸 Final Spot

For my final spot, I climbed up to a temple on a hill near Yokohama. From there, I could see the entire city, and it was also where I found the prototype glider tech! And guess what? From this temple, I could finally see Mount Fuji!
