RE: Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | The Sound of Danger

Now, life is nothing but noise and buzzing, I miss the songs I used to love. I don't hear the voices of those I love anymore, nor the sounds of nature that helped me relax in the toughest moments.

After any sound became lethal, humanity took a while to get used to it. One way humans found to protect themselves was by piercing their own eardrums. When a baby is born, the first thing doctors do is a small surgery to prevent any sound from entering their ears.

We no longer have sound distractions, loneliness seems to be present even in the midst of a crowd. Eyes need to be more efficient without the aid of sounds to alert of any danger.

There's a calmness that isn't natural. Artists suffered the most, concerts, parties are now part of the past, people seem sadder and try to find a routine to keep on living.

Luckily, we have technology to aid in communication. Schools teach sign languages, and people avoid noises in every way. There are many adaptations to survive. But we'll manage, we're adaptable beings to any situation.
