Observando la imagen del concurso. Me cuesta trabajo asociarla, no tengo idea que es una tetera, je, je, je. En Cuba o al menos donde yo vivo, las teteras que conozco son las de los biberones de bebes.
Tampoco se vende helados en ese tipo de bolsas. Sin embargo, esta imagen trae otro recuerdo a mi mente. Algo que en un momento se hizo en el CONCAR de Manatí, la industria cárnica donde trabajé algunos años, hace algún tiempo.
Resulta que durante un tiempo, las viseras de las reses sacrificadas allí, así como la de los cerdos. Que eran algunos de los productos terminados que se comercializaban allí, se vendían directamente a las tiendas recaudadoras de divisas.
Para ello, las viseras se envolvían en nailon vitafilm. Pero en una ocasión que no había disponibilidad de este tipo de nailon para envolver, a alguien se le ocurrió echarlos en bolsas parecidas a la de la imagen del concurso. Que se usaban para envasar croquetas.
Para ser sincero, los corazones de res se veían genial. Pero el resto de las viseras no lucían bien en esas bolsas. Pues había que envasar varios kilos para que se vieran bien.
Al final se decidió esperar por el vitafilm. Tiempo más tarde se indicó la producción y venta de picadillo de carne de res de primera. Y una vez más se probó el formato de 2.3 kilogramos en bolsas individuales.
Tanto los corazones de res, como el picadillo, se veía similar a la foto del concurso. Hasta en el color, miro esa foto y llegan esos recuerdos a mi mente. Finalmente, no se aprobó ese formato y todo quedó en unas cuantas pruebas.

Looking at the image of the contest. I have a hard time associating it, I have no idea what a teapot is, heh, heh, heh. In Cuba, or at least where I live, the teapots I know are the ones used in baby bottles.
Nor is ice cream sold in such bags. However, this image brings another memory to my mind. Something that at one time was done at CONCAR in Manatí, the meat industry where I worked for some years, some time ago.
It turns out that for a time, the visors of the cattle slaughtered there, as well as that of the pigs. Which were some of the finished products that were marketed there, were sold directly to the stores that collected foreign currency.

To be honest, the beef hearts looked great. But the rest of the visors didn't look good in those bags. You had to pack several kilos to make them look good.
In the end it was decided to wait for the vitafilm. Some time later the production and sale of prime beef mince was indicated. And once again the 2.3 kilogram format in individual bags was tested.
Both the beef hearts and the beef mince looked similar to the contest photo. Even in color, I look at that photo and those memories come to my mind. In the end, the format was not approved and everything remained in a few tests.
