Love Theme from The Godfather (Cover) | | Vibes Web3 Competition Week 17

In this week 17 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, I perform "Love Theme from The Godfather", an instrumental track that is part of the soundtrack of the film "The Godfather"; composed by the legendary Nino Rota.

Rota's score for The Godfather was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1973. However, it was disqualified when the academy learned that Rota had used a more comedic version of the song for the film Fortunella (1958). However, Rota's score for The Godfather Part II won the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1974, despite containing the same piece.

For this release I wanted to use two keyboards again. Being able to add timbral color to my performances is something that I enjoy and enjoy; I hope you enjoy it too.

En esta semana 17 del Vibes Web3 Music Competition, interpreto "Love Theme from The Godfather", un tema instrumental que forma parte de la banda sonora del la película "El Padrino"; compuesta por el legendario Nino Rota.

La banda sonora de Rota para El Padrino fue nominada al premio Óscar a la mejor banda sonora original en 1973. Sin embargo, fue descalificada cuando la academia se enteró de que Rota había utilizado una versión más cómica de la canción para la película Fortunella (1958). No obstante, la banda sonora de Rota para El Padrino II ganó el premio Óscar a la mejor banda sonora en 1974, a pesar de que contenía la misma pieza.

En esta entrega quise volver a usar dos teclados. Poder agregar colorido tímbrico a mis interpretaciones es algo que me entretiene y me gusta; espero que también lo disfrutes.
