Splinterlands Art Contest Week 271: Flame Mephit [Esp-Eng]
¡Saludos amigos! Es un gusto para mi participar por segunda vez en el concurso de arte semanal de splinterlands.
Greetings friends! It is a pleasure for me to participate for the second time in the weekly splinterlands art contest.
En esta ocasión he seleccionado una carta llamada Flame Mephit. La cual es una carta representada por una chica de piel morena que posee la habilidad de dominar el fuego.
This time I have selected a card called Flame Mephit. Which is a card represented by a dark-skinned girl who has the ability to dominate fire.
La ilustración que realicé de este personaje es de tipo digital, arte digital y al estilo pixel art. Comencé realizando un boceto pixel a pixel de color negro y en una capa más abajo pinté la piel con el que seria el color base.
The illustration I made of this character is digital, digital art and pixel art style. I started by making a black pixel-by-pixel sketch and in a layer below I painted the skin with what would be the base color.
Con un color más oscuro le realicé un sombreado en las partes que consideré correspondientes.
With a darker color I shaded the parts that I considered corresponding.
Al igual que el sombreado las luces juegan un papel importante en la ilustración, así que para las luces usé un color mas claro que el color base.
Ademas de pintar los ojos del personaje con un color amarillo.
Like shading, lights play an important role in the illustration, so for the lights I used a lighter color than the base color.
In addition to painting the character's eyes with a yellow color.
Una vez terminada toda la piel y los ojos, procedi a pintar el cabello y la bola de fuego que el personaje lleva en la mano, usando tonos amarillos y anaranjados conseguí darle esa apariencia de fuego caracteristica del personaje.
Once all the skin and eyes were finished, I proceeded to paint the hair and the fireball that the character carries in his hand. Using yellow and orange tones, I managed to give him that fiery appearance characteristic of the character.
Por último pinté el vestuario y los accesorios, usando el mismo procedimiento anterior, color base, sombras y luces que mencioné anteriormete, pero con los colores correspondientes.
Finally I painted the costumes and accessories, using the same previous procedure, base color, shadows and lights that I mentioned previously, but with the corresponding colors.
Agregué un fondo sencillo y este fué resultado final:
