¡Saludos! Para esta nueva edición del concurso semanal de arte de Splinterlands les he traido una ilustración de la carta llamada Animated Corpse

Greetings! For this new edition of the weekly Splinterlands art contest I brought you an illustration of the card called Animated Corpse

Animated Corpse

Un eterno oscuro incipiente también es conocido como un Cadáver Animado. Emergiendo de los Fosos de Alquitrán de la Creación en el Desperdicio Sur de Mortis, cada incipiente debe primero arrojar lo que queda de su carne mortal. Mientras están en decadencia, los Cadáveres Animados se colocan en la primera línea para acelerar su transición.

A fledgling Dark Eternal is also known as an Animated Corpse. Emerging from the Tar Pits of Creation in the Southern Waste of Mortis, each fledgling must first shed what remains of its mortal flesh. While in decay, the Animated Corpses are placed on the front lines to speed their transition.

Proceso Creativo | Creative Process

Para hacer este cadáver animado he usado la tecnica del pixel art, arte digital.

He iniciado con un boceto, en el que reflejé parte de las caracteristicas del personaje en cuestion y como se trata de un zombie le di esa pose algo encorbada a mi versión, ya que me parece que es una característica tipica de los zombies.

To make this animated corpse I used the pixel art technique, digital art.

I have started with a sketch, in which I reflected part of the characteristics of the character in question and since it is a zombie I gave that somewhat hunched pose to my version, since it seems to me that it is a typical characteristic of zombies.

Lo siguiente fué agregar un color base en toda la piel, ya que en mis ilustraciones es lo primero que comienzo a trabajar, en este caso fué un color verde.

The next thing was to add a base color throughout the skin, since in my illustrations it is the first thing I start to work on, in this case it was a green color.

Una vez aplicada toda la base, proseguí con el sombreado, usando para ello un color mas oscuro y luego la iluminación con un color más claro. Usando un tramado de pixeles para cada cosa y uno que otro pixel suelto, para darle la textura propia del pixel art.

Once all the base was applied, I continued with the shading, using a darker color and then lighting with a lighter color. Using a pattern of pixels for each thing and one or another loose pixel, to give it the texture of pixel art.

Lo siguiente fué pintar toda la vestimenta del personaje y para ello usé el mismo procedimiento anterior, color base, mas sombras e iluminacion, junto con el tramado de pixeles.

The next thing was to paint all the character's clothing and to do this I used the same previous procedure, base color, more shadows and lighting, along with the pixel dithering.

Para crear el fondo lo primero que se me vino a la cabeza fué un cementerio y una luna al fondo.

¡Y así fué como quedó!

To create the background, the first thing that came to mind was a cemetery and a moon in the background.

And that's how it turned out!
