Splinterlands Art Contest Week 278: Wood Nymph [Esp-Eng]

¡Hola amigos! Para el concurso de arte de splinterlands de esta semana me he inspirado en la carta de una linda ninfa, llamada Wood Nymph

Hello friends! For this week's splinterlands art contest I was inspired by the card of a cute nymph, called Wood Nymph

REFERENCE

Un nuevo y peculiar capullo apareció en las puntas de las ramas más altas del árbol de saúco. Los animales que vivían en el árbol observaron cómo crecían los extraños brotes y, en cuestión de días, se abrían. De cada brote surgió un pequeño duende. Estas ninfas del bosque se dispersaron rápidamente alrededor de Anumun en un frenesí de travesuras.

A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree. The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open. From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite. These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumun in a frenzy of mischief.

La ilustración de la ninfa del bosque fué hecha usando la técnica de pixel art, arte digital y aquí abajo les estaré dejando capturas de pantallas del proceso creativo y les iré hablando un poco de como lo llevé a cabo.

The illustration of the forest nymph was made using the pixel art technique, digital art, and below I will be leaving you screenshots of the creative process and I will tell you a little about how I carried it out.

Como siempre, trabajé principalmente en un boceto, en donde agregué todas las características que deseaba incluirle al personaje, de acuerdo a la imagen de referencia de la carta de Wood Nymph

As always, I worked mainly on a sketch, where I added all the characteristics I wanted to include in the character, according to the reference image in Wood Nymph's card

En una capa inferior añadí un color verde base en toda la piel, ya que es lo primero que suelo colorear.

In a lower layer I added a base green color throughout the skin, since it is the first thing I usually color.

Luego añadí un sombreado plano y encima del sombreado hice un tramado de pixeles para darle un efecto de fusión de colores.

Then I added a flat shading and on top of the shading I did a pixel dither to give it a color fusion effect.

Lo mismo hice con la iluminación y una vez que terminé el coloreado de la piel, completé el rostro, coloreando y dandole forma a los ojos, nariz y boca.

I did the same with the lighting and once I finished coloring the skin, I completed the face, coloring and shaping the eyes, nose and mouth.

Continué con el cabello, siguiendo el mismo procedimiento, color base, sombra, iluminación y tramado de pixeles.

I continued with the hair, following the same procedure, base color, shadow, lighting and pixel dithering.

Y para terminar con el coloreado de toda la estructura del personaje procegui con su atuendo.

And to finish with the coloring of the entire structure of the character, I proceeded with his outfit.

El fondo que realicé fué el de un bosque, ya que representa mucho al personaje.
Y este fué el reslutado final ¡Espero que les guste!

The background I made was a forest, since it represents the character a lot.
