¡Saludos amigos! Para la edición de la semana 279 del concurso de arte de splinterlands he decidido trabajar con la carta de un duendecillo encantador y adorable llamado Enchanted Pixie

Cuando un extraño meteorito brillante se estrelló en los Pantanos del Musgo Viviente, las Heliostones enterradas en el barro reaccionaron con un estallido mágico de creación. En un enorme frenesí de luz y ruido, miles de diminutas criaturas voladoras emergieron de los pantanos y se dispersaron por Splinterlands. La época de los duendecillos había comenzado.

When a strange glowing meteorite crashed into the Swamps of the Living Moss, the Heliostones buried in the mud reacted with a magical burst of creation. In a huge frenzy of light and noise, thousands of tiny flying creatures emerged from the swamps and scattered about the Splinterlands. The time of Pixies had begun.

¡Bien! Ya que conocemos un poco el lore de Enchanted Pixie continuaré comentandoles que la ilustración de Enchanted Pixie fué hecha usando la técnica del pixel art y de aquí en adelante les hablaré y les mostraré un poco sobre el proceso creativo.

Boceto | Sketch

Una vez que realicé el boceto y agregué todos los detalles que deseaba incluirle a mi personaje, el siguiente paso fué añadir un color base, especificamente en la piel, ya que es lo primero que suelo trabajar.

Once I made the sketch and added all the details I wanted to include in my character, the next step was to add a base color, specifically on the skin, since it is the first thing I usually work on.

Luego añadí el sombreado, usando un color un tono mas oscuro al color base.

Then I added the shading, using a color one tone darker than the base color.

Después del sombreado prosigo con la iluminación, esta vez usando un color un tono más claro al base.

After shading I continue with lighting, this time using a color one tone lighter than the base.

Cabe destacar que tanto para el sombreado como para la iluminación suelo usar un tramado de pixeles, con el objetivo de lograr una degradación de colores, además de darle dimensión a la ilustración.

It should be noted that for both shading and lighting I usually use a pixel dither, with the aim of achieving color degradation, in addition to giving dimension to the illustration.

Como pueden ver, ya he terminado todo el rostro, coloree los ojos y le di una expresión al duendecillo, una adorable sonrisa, Por lo que el siguiente paso fué el coloreado del cabello. Aqui podemos observar además que apliqué el color base al cabello y mas abajo el resultado final del coloreado del cabello.

As you can see, I have already finished the entire face, I colored the eyes and gave the pixie an expression, an adorable smile, so the next step was coloring the hair. Here we can also see that I applied the base color to the hair and below the final result of the hair coloring.

Y una vez que ya tengo listo todo el personaje, procedo a crearle un fondo, que según para mi lo ideal fué un bosque.
