Fanart piece of Chuul Jujinchi for Splinterlands Art Contest 307
Hello everyone!
After a long break, I'm excited to share that I've participated in the Splinterlands Art Contest once again. It feels incredibly rewarding to create new artwork for this contest after such a long time. The last piece I made was for Art Contest 245, so many contests have come and gone since then. But now, I'm back .
So I started with my new fan art that I made Chuul Jujinchi. That is a life Summoner. Splinterlands players know him well. Why did I choose Chuul Jujinchi? Well, it was a bit of a spontaneous decision. As I browsed through the Splinterlands market today, looking at both new and old cards some cards are caught my eye because today I thought I would make art for the splinterlands contest. So I went around and picked several cards, among which I liked Chuul Jujinchi. And it occurred to me that I might as well try to make a new one after looking at it. And I have selected the characters of the rest of the cards for the next contest.
I drew it with a bit of a cartoonish vibe because that's what I'm good at. I did this with Illustrator software. I did the color combination with ideas from the original art. Yes it looks very simple.I'm pleased with how it turned out.
