I hope you are all having a fantastic day! I'm excited to share my new fan art for Splinterlands Art Contest Week 319 - my Sea Genie fanart from the world of cards from Splinterlands. It's always inspiring to see the entries each week, and I try to participate in these creative challenges. Congratulations to last week's winners. Your work was stunning.

This week, I set out to capture the mystery and power of Sea Genie, a character that brings a sense of magic and mystery to a force I aim to bring to life.

To draw this character I used Adobe Illustrator focusing on sketching a pose that would show the strong presence of Sea Jenny as it is on the main card. I wanted to give her intense expression an air of confidence and wisdom. Once I had laid the foundation I added her outfit, especially the turban to add a bit of royal flair.

For the color scheme I leaned towards the calm blues and purples of the original card Sea Genie to echo the character's strengths. This makes her a strong contrast that highlights her magical nature. The mist flowing around him added a bit of mystery which added something unique to the art.
