A little piece of history, details of a colonial past. / Monomad [Eng/Esp]

Good morning, dear friends of #blackandwhite.

A couple of days ago I had a fascinating experience that I want to share with you. On my tour of Havana I found an old colonial house, from the 18th century, when it was Spain who ruled the affairs of Cuba. Today I share with you what I found inside. I tell you!

Hace un par de días tuve una experiencia fascinante que les quiero compartir. En mi recorrido por La Habana encontré una antigua casa colonial, del siglo XVIII, cuando era España quien regía los asuntos de Cuba. Hoy les comparto lo que encontré en su interior. Ya les digo!!!

As soon as I entered at the end of a corridor there were these two trunks, the scene enchanted me, it was as if they were calling me to take their picture.

Apenas entraba al final de un pasillo estaban estos dos baúles, la escena me encantó, fue como si me llamaran para hacerles la foto.

If something is very striking in this type of houses are the windows, and the light that enters through them, it is simply beautiful.

Si algo es muy llamativo en ese tipo de casas son las ventanas, y la luz que por ellas entra, es simplemente hermoso.

Each object was beautiful in detail, a mixture of history and good taste.

Cada objeto era en detalles hermoso, una mezcla de historia y buen gusto.

The rooms left me speechless, a marvel. The house belonged to Don Luis Chacón, who was governor of Cuba, and was built in 1720. I was very impressed by the wood furniture, of excellent quality, from when things were made to last forever.

Las habitaciones me dejaron, sin palabras, una maravilla. La casa perteneció a Don Luis Chacón, quien fue gobernador de Cuba, y la construyó en 1720. Me llamó mucho la atención la madera de los muebles, de excelente calidad, de cuando las cosas se hacían para que fueran eternas.

I am very grateful to the people in charge of the place who allowed me to move everywhere and take the pictures. It was like I was at home 🤣🫠, obviously figuratively, but I enjoyed it so much that I fell in love with the place. There the light is different, and each piece speaks for itself. Le agradezco mucho a los responsables del lugar que me permitieron moverme por todas partes y hacer las fotos. Era como si estuviera en mi casa 🤣🫠, obviamente en sentido figurado, pero lo disfruté tanto que me enamoré del lugar. Allí la luz es diferente, y cada pieza habla por sí sola. Bueno amigos, hasta aquí mi aventura del fin de semana, espero la hayan disfrutado, nos vemos pronto, abrazos.
