Absent neighbors and many lizards. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

I live in a residential area where most of the neighbors are senior citizens. One of them was Migdalia, may she rest in peace, because she passed on to the next life. She was my next door neighbor and she didn't like me; she always disliked that I was with my camera trying to photograph everything that moved around. Coincidentally, her yard was full of motifs that I found very attractive. She would sit in an old armchair and watch me from a distance. Today she is gone, but her armchair is still there, as if frozen in time. Today I took some pictures of them and, in addition, some lizards that approached shyly and I was able to photograph. I show them to you.

It fascinates me to abstract myself and see a little beyond the ordinary, and every time I leave the house I see that armchair and I seem to see her sitting there. I liked the light it cast on it and I didn't miss the opportunity to take a picture of it.

I liked the black background and the lizard apparently even modeled for the photo.

They have survived my cat's relentless hunting for a long time. He was also afraid of Migdalia because he scared her. Maybe that's why he didn't go into her yard and so the lizards were not exterminated.

In the end, these photographs are very useful for improving camera handling, practicing focusing and learning how to use light, as well as being fun. Sometimes you don't need to travel long distances to take pictures, maybe the reasons are closer than we think.

Vivo en una zona residencial donde la mayoría de los vecinos son personas de la tercera edad. Una de ellas era Migdalia, que en paz descanse, porque pasó a la otra vida. Era mi vecina de al lado y yo no le caía bien; siempre le disgustaba que estuviera con mi cámara tratando de fotografiar todo lo que se moviera en los alrededores. Casualmente, su patio estaba lleno de motivos que me resultaban muy atractivos. Ella se sentaba en un viejo sillón y me vigilaba desde la distancia. Hoy ya no está, pero su sillón sigue allí, como congelado en el tiempo. Hoy les hice algunas fotos y, además, a algunos lagartos que se acercaron con timidez y pude fotografiar. Se las enseño.

Me fascina abstraerme y ver un poco más allá de lo ordinario, y cada vez que salgo de casa veo ese sillón y me parece verla allí sentada. Me gustó la luz que proyectaba sobre él y no perdí la oportunidad de hacerle una foto.

Me gustó el fondo negro y el lagarto al parecer hasta modeló para la foto.

Ellos han sobrevivido a la implacable caza de mi gato durante mucho tiempo. Él también le tenía miedo a Migdalia porque la asustaba. Tal vez por eso no entraba a su patio y así los lagartos no fueron exterminados.

Al final, estas fotografías son muy útiles para mejorar el manejo de la cámara, practicar el enfoque y aprender a utilizar la luz, además de ser divertidas. A veces no hace falta recorrer grandes distancias para hacer fotos, puede que los motivos estén más cerca de lo que pensamos.
