Chronicle of a tired light. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings dear friends of the #blackandwhite community.

I consider that every city has its own light. The light of my city does not pretend to be beautiful, it is a tired, silent and wounded light. Every day I observe how it blends with that daily life, sometimes forgotten but very present.

Yo considero que cada ciudad tiene su propia luz. La de mi ciudad no pretende ser bella, es una luz cansada, silenciosa y herida. Todos los días la observo cómo se mezcla con esa cotidianidad, a veces olvidada pero muy presente.

Besides, it has its own rhythm, and it does not resemble any other. It has a very particular cadence, full of stories that nobody cares about.

Además, tiene su propio ritmo, y no se parece a ninguna. Tiene una cadencia muy particular y llena de historias que a nadie le importan.

It is not the light of the European postcards, this is more resentful, shy, it hides between the cracks of the broken walls so abundant and likes to draw shadows.

No es la luz de las postales europeas, esta es más resentida, tímida, se esconde entre las grietas de las paredes rotas tan abundantes y le gusta dibujar sombras.

Hence, with my photography I seek to echo the sigh of my city, so historic and controversial, where the light rises every day to fight for life, but falls at nightfall, beautiful but broken.

De ahí que con mi fotografía busco hacerme eco del suspiro de mi ciudad, tan histórica y controversial, donde la luz se levanta todos los días a luchar la vida, pero cae al anochecer hermosa pero rota.
