From black to white // Monomad [Eng/Esp]

Happy New Year 2025 #blackandwhite community family, my wishes for prosperity, health and peace to all.

For this new year there are many challenges, of all kinds, but it is the photographic one to which I put more energy. Black and white photography has opened an incredibly interesting door which I want to deepen. Today I share with you some street photographs in which in a certain way I see myself reflected in them, they are scenes so everyday but at the same time become a ritual for Cubans.

Below is my entry as part of the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.

Para este nuevo año vienen muchos desafíos, de toda índole, pero es el fotográfico al que le pongo más energías. La fotografía en blanco y negro me ha habierto una puerta increíblemente interesante la cuál quiero profundizar. Hoy les comparto algunas fotografías callejeras en las que de cierta forma me veo reflejado en ellas, son escenas tan cotidianas pero a la vez convertidas en ritual para los cubanos.
A continuación mi participación como parte del concurso #monomad de @monochromes y @brumest.

Drinking coconut water with so much heat is very refreshing, although not so much the price. Coincidentally it is also known as coconut cab to the means of transportation behind it, pure coincidence of the universe conspiring in my favor 😁.

Es creencia bien arraigada, que si le das una seria de vueltas al arbol Ceiba que está plantado en la zona donde se fundó la Habana, tendriamos éxito en el futuro.

A custom that should not go out of fashion is the nice phrase to women, these musicians do not waste time.

Costumbre que no debería pasar de moda es la frase bonita a las mujeres, estos músicos no pierden tiempo.
