Greetings, dear friends of #blackandwhite

When I'm on the street, something very curious happens to me: my mind starts whispering phrases and words, and sometimes that makes me uncomfortable because, when I go with the idea of making well-organized and visually appealing photos, my mind goes in another direction.

Spontaneity, timelessness, textures, time, ephemerality, harmonious imperfections, dissonant narrative, balance, creative disorder. There are many concepts that come to my mind, and it is as if my subconscious was guiding me. On this occasion I listened to it, I ventured and gave it credit; here I show you the results.

Cuando estoy en la calle, me sucede algo muy curioso: mi mente comienza a susurrar frases y palabras, y a veces eso me incomoda porque, cuando voy con la idea de hacer fotos bien organizadas y visualmente atractivas, mi mente va en otra dirección.
Espontaneidad, atemporalidad, texturas, tiempo, efímeridad, imperfecciones armoniosas, narrativa disonante, equilibrio, desorden creativo... Son muchos los conceptos que me vienen a la mente, y es como si mi subconsciente me estuviera guiando. En esta ocasión le hice caso, me aventuré y le di crédito; aquí les muestro los resultados.

So I grabbed my camera, and started taking pictures discreetly without being noticed. The images appear to be chaotic but I want them to reflect the dynamics of Havana's urban environment, which is very changeable and noisy.

Entonces agarré mi cámara, y comencé hacer fotos de forma discreta sin ser percibido. Las imágenes parecen ser caóticas pero quiero con ellas reflejar la dinámica del entorno urbano habanero, que es muy cambiante y ruidoso.

They are photos where I look for naturalness over visual perfection.

I had not discovered how interesting it could be to obey my subconscious, the relax with order we Cubans say and I remind him of it, however the ideas persist and I go like a madman paying attention to him.

No había descubierto lo interesante que podía ser obedecer a mi subconsciente, el relajo con orden decimos los cubanos y yo se lo recuerdo a él, no obstante las ideas persisten y yo voy como un loco haciéndole caso.
