What people misunderstand about me... LOH #157

Hello beautiful hivers @ladiesohive. This week contest comes with interesting topics which i would love to try.

One thing people misunderstand about me is me being an introvert.
I'm always a quiet person, i just love my privacy that’s been alone. I’m just a reserved person. Since i was young, I've always been like that, and it hasn’t been a concern to me neither does it bother me but this has made people to underrate my abilities, capacities and potentials and sometimes it makes be feel bad and angry. Some even say i am boring.

I love spending my time at home, watching movies and talk shows, reading romantic novels, listening to music with my speakers’ booming, watching reels on social media. I don’t like to be surrounded by crowd or plenty people, I have a small circle of friends because i don’t really socialize and i don't really participate in exercises until i have a feeling to. All this has made people not take me serious and think i am lazy and not capable of doing certain things and this makes me feel underrated and it’s annoying.

When I meet people I try to socialize and have a great time and fun. When i go to an event especially weddings, i sometimes join the couples to dance and have a nice time. I remember going for a family friend’s wedding, i was just sitting so quiet, looking at what was going on but during the nuptial dance i decided to get up and dance with people who were dancing and one of my cousin's was just staring at me so awfully and i was confused. So after the dance i had to go and meet him and asked him jokingly if i committed an offence that made him stare at me in that manner and he replied saying that he was surprised to see me dance and bond even with people i did not know. That he knows me as this kind of boring and reserved person so he was surprised to see me dancing. It was kind of funny but i didn’t just like the statement and i wasn’t happy. Sometimes when i feel like being around people, at least i learn to socialize and communicate with them.

Although I love staying indoors and being in the comfort of my home, what I also love to go for trips and travelling to nearby places to have fun. I also love going to the beach to play and build sand castles and i also love going to the zoo to see cute animals like the parrot and the peacock.

Sometimes people meeting me for the first time , have a wrong impression about me and when they get to really know me they are amazed, like some will say “ i didn’t you were fun to be with, i thought you were this kind of quiet and reserved person” and i just would smile at them.

I’m also this kind of fun and crazy person when i am around people i am close to. I’m just always shy around strangers but when we really know ourselves i do express myself.
And when people underestimate me that i am not capable to do a certain thing, i’m always challenged and all of a sudden i will be bold and take a risk to do it.

The point here is that just because I'm calm and quiet, doesn't mean that i don’t speak when i ought to. Yeah sometimes when i’m hurt i speak out and will tell you plainly that you’ve really hurt me.

All these things are a part of my personality, but they don’t define who I truly am.
