Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are unique, verified assets within the blockchain that embody ownership of a digital item. It all started when the CryptoKitties game gained popularity in 2017, however, history says that NFTs emerge in 2014. CryptoKitties consisted of buying, selling and breeding virtual cats. This tells us that the specific function of NFTs is to create unique digital assets in an incalculable range, from digital art, video games, music, among others. For the music field, this technology opens up many new opportunities for artists.
