ASEAN Hive Challenge "Urban Exploration" | Neighborhood House
Hello folks,
Actually this is my first time joining the challenge, although it is a quite scary but I've tried to captured photos as early as possible for my subject house, because the day is almost swallowed by the dark, so I need to be quick and hurry.
Where in the Philippines, supersticious belief are such undeniable. Traditional story, most especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural. And typically involving supernatural beings, likes; white lady, black lady, kapre, nuno and other ancient myth dimensions. Which this is really a widely held but a false belief and idea that kept by someones believing.
My subject house was located at Casanta, Mactan, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu. My neighborhood house, it was abandoned by the owner and tenant due to a huge destruction of the house causes by the super typhoon "Odette" way back on the year 2021 in the 16th day of December. I've really remember this natural phenomenon, this is really fresh from my mind which I've never forgotten, because even our house never escape from the anger of this storm, our house was really falling down.
This house was a two-storey building, the ground floor was made of concrete with four bedrooms while the second- storey was made of light materials, a bamboo strip walling and a coconut woods on the division and partition. It has a balcony on the side and had also four bedrooms. Before this is really a busy house because there are many people living on this, and for the reason it is for rent. Which there are many happenings in this house, happy or sad but after the super typhoon it was left by the tenants.
Which look at it now, as you can see it has really a collateral damge. Some of our neighborhoods really wonders that it is now the inhabitat of other dimensions as what I have mentioned, which in the night it was too very dark, looks like theres someone living. Most especially there was a big bread fruit tree beside, humors that theres somebody really living, really hair- raising.
If we say hunted house, this is really scary, a hair-raising if anybody really believes but anyway, this is just a #myths and nothing about to worries.

Hahaha, exactly.
So spooky. Strange the owner(s) doesn't put up a "For Sale" sign or at least fix the place up and make some money from renters. I can't imagine having a valuable asset like a house and just letting it go to waste, so sad.
Yes exactly friend, maybe they don't need a money because they just let it abandoned. Or maybe they have no capital for renovations. But for me it is such a big regrets. By the way thanks for coming friend
