Ladies of Hive Community Contest #230 || Your favorite childhood TV show and how did it influence you? // Part of your life that you enjoy right now

Well, I have to say that we are several siblings, and after getting home from school, we would watch the scheduled television programs together. In my country, Venezuela, the afternoons were for children, as the national television channels focused on broadcasting engaging and fun content for children and teenagers. And we generally liked it because each episode had something in particular that we liked.

As I've mentioned, I have variable tastes and don't usually focus on just one thing. That's why I enjoyed the varied programming, since my older brothers always took control of the television. But I can say that I had several programs, including The Simpsons, El Chavo del Ocho, and Vecinos. And you might say those aren't very childish programs, and it's true, but I repeat, my older brothers had the control. I must say that despite that, I enjoyed everything, especially El Chavo del Ocho and Vecinos, because even though they were comedy shows, they taught me great lessons.

Through them, I understood that there are situations that, even though they may seem impossible, are still there and can happen to you at any moment. I also understood the fact that there are people who, despite having everything, come to desire and even envy the nothingness that others have. I was filled with beautiful reflections and learned that simplicity and humility are your best calling card. They had and continue to have a great influence on me, and to this day I remember them fondly. I even often watch them again, as they are still on television.

Bueno tengo que comentar que somos varios hermanos y que después de llegar de la escuela juntos veíamos los programas de televisión pautados para esa hora, en mi país Venezuela las tardes eran para niños pues los canales de televisión nacional se enfocaban en transmitir contenido atractivo y divertido para niños y adolescentes. Y por lo general nos gustaba pues cada sección tenía algo en particular que nos agradaba.

Como bien he comentado soy de gustos variables y no suelo enfocarme mucho en una sola cosa por esa razón disfrutaba de la programación variada ya que mis hermanos mayores siempre tomaban el control de la televisión. Pero puedo decir que tenía varios programas entre ellos estaban los Simpson, El chavo del ocho y Vecinos. Y ustedes dirán esos no son programas tan infantiles y es cierto pero vuelvo y les repito mis hermanos mayores tenían el mando, debo decir que a pesar de eso disfrute mucho de todo sobre todo del chavo del ocho y vecinos pues a pesar que eran programas de risas dejaban grandes enseñanzas.

En ellos comprendí que hay situaciones que aunque nos puedan resultar imposible están allí y te pueden suceder en cualquier momento, también el hecho de que hay personas que a pesar de tener todo llegan a desear e incluso envidiar el de nada que tienen otros. Me llene de reflexiones muy bonitas y aprendí que la sencillez y humildad son tu mejor carta de presentación. Tuvieron y tienen gran influencia en mi y hasta los momentos recuerdo mucho con mucho cariño e incluso muchas veces los sigo viendo pues aun se mantienen vigente en la televisión.
