Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 189
Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,
Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 189
Welcome, welcome, welcome - show me your photos of birds!
Recently I have less time for my hobby, luckily I have photos taken before and I can use them for illustration. This round will be free. Yes, Free Theme and I expect to see your photos and to read your stories. As much as I love to see what you have captured with your cameras, I equally love to read what you have to say about it. There is always something to tell about the image.
And here is mine. To illustrate the Free Theme I chose a photo of a seagull I took in one of the hottest days in summer. Maybe not the hottest, but we have exceptional weather, the summer was hot and not just for few days The heatwave hit hard all - humans and wildlife.
The seagull was standing with beak wide open. I wonder why the bird did not hid somewhere in the shade. The beach and the sea were in a very close distance and yet, many seagulls prefer the streets of the town even in such extreme hot day.

Seagull living his best city life, lovely capture, wishing you a wonderful week.
Sometimes it feels they own the city. 😀
Been places where they tend to take over much like pigeons, fortunately we have neither come into our town here.

So glad to see your entry. 🙂
Beautiful photography. We usually associate seagulls with the sea but they seem to like the city. They are mischievous stealing food.
Greetings @nelinoeva and thanks for this new contest.
Thank you for your comment.
The seagulls are invading the land further away from the sea. They breed on the rooftops of our block of flats.
