Para mí la mejor anécdota que puede tener fue estar con todos en el stand de Hive en la Expo Tecno Digital y en el Lara Fest. La historia de la comunidad de Hivers de Barquisimeto, inició en el Parque del Este, no nos conocíamos, no teníamos mucho y yo estaba en mi proceso de transición a Hive. Venir a Hive ha sido una de las mejores decisiones.

El aprendizaje éste año va desde romper mi zona de confort y retarme a compartir en eventos que nunca esperamos, que soñábamos y sólo hablábamos. La posibilidad existe siempre y cuando la idea se encuentre en la mente.

My 2023 Year of Transformation with HIVE

Today is Christmas, and before I begin, I would like to wish you all a happy holiday season, to share with your family, and to love and enjoy every second of the moment. This year has been full of great anecdotes and new experiences. I shared many occasions with my friends, the Hiversbqto.

The events came one after the other, and I'll be very honest: Some of them I was able to attend and others I couldn't due to work or university issues. However, I am glad to have enjoyed everyone and shared great moments with each one of them.

For me, the best anecdote I can have is being with everyone at the Hive stand at the Expo Tecno Digital and at the Lara Fest. The history of the Hivers community in Barquisimeto began in Parque del Este. We didn't know each other very well, and I was in the process of transitioning to Hive. Coming to Hive has been one of the best decisions.

The learning this year comes from breaking out of my comfort zone and challenging myself to share in events that we never expected, that we dreamed of, and that we only talked about. The possibility exists as long as the idea is in the mind.

Recuerdo que el primer evento en la ciudad fue un reencuentro en el mes de enero, en esa fecha no pude asistir por temas de trabajo y mi horario. Posteriormente, nos reencontramos por un conjunto de temas de organización y se me invitó a estar en el stand de la Expo Tecno Digital en el Hotel Lidotel en Barquisimeto. Previo a esto hubo actividades en varias universidades, pude asistir a una que ocurrió en la universidad donde estudié: UCLA.

Una de las mejores experiencias este año fue la Expo Tecno Digital, en este evento pude conocer a jcrodriguez. En las anécdotas se me acercó preguntándome por Hive y yo explicándole muy cordialmente mientras le respondía un Tweet en la antigua twitter y decía en voz alta en el evento que era un “cobero” (modismo venezolano para referirnos a alguien que miente). Jcrodriguez en el Tweet me decía que iba a ir al evento, y yo no lo creía. Es más, él siempre nos decía que no iría. No se imaginan mi cara cuando me dicen que es él. Yo no lo podía creer.

En la Expo Tecno Digital, aparte de divertirme, pude compartir lo que es Hive, suelo ser muy conversador y hablar mucho. Aunque esto ocurre cuando agarro confianza, soy muy precavido. Es algo de mi personalidad. La reflexión de este evento fue la manera en que se puede difundir la marca (Hive) a un público inversor y profesional. El dialecto no es el mismo que se usa entre creadores de contenido.

I remember that the first event in the city was a reunion in January, which I could not attend due to work and my schedule. Later, we met again due to organizational issues, and I was invited to be at the stand of the Expo Tecno Digital at the Lidotel Hotel in Barquisimeto. Prior to this, there were activities at several universities, and I was able to attend one that took place at the university where I studied: UCLA.

One of the best experiences this year was the Expo Tecno Digital. At this event, I was able to meet jcrodriguez. In the anecdotes, he approached me asking me about Hive and I explained to him very cordially while I answered a Tweet in the old Twitter and said out loud at the event that he was a "cobero" (Venezuelan idiom to refer to someone who lies). Jcrodriguez in the Tweet told me that he was going to the event, and I didn't believe it. What's more, he always told us he wasn't going. You can't imagine my face when they told me it was him. I couldn't believe it.

At the Expo Tecno Digital, apart from having fun, I was able to share what Hive is all about. I tend to be very talkative and talk a lot. Although this happens when I gain confidence, I am very cautious. It's something about my personality. The reflection of this event was the way in which the brand (Hive) can be disseminated to an investor and professional audience. The dialect is not the same among content creators.

En ése momento tsunsica y yo coordinábamos una actividad también meses después en el decanato de artes y humanidades de la UCLA; la actividad fue todo un éxito por lo que pude observar. Sin embargo, la presión en esos meses fue muy dura, dormía pocas horas al día, y estaba en temas de la universidad delicados que adsorbían casi todo mi tiempo. Realmente quería asistir a esta actividad, pero no pude. Me tocó excusarme con el equipo por la presión que vivía.

Mi mejor momento en el año fue el aniversario de la comunidad de Hiversbqto. Fue muy especial ése día. Algo inigualable y que no se puede expresar con pocas palabras. Compartimos como un gran equipo y una gran familia. El crecimiento de la comunidad y personal de cada uno fue lo más notable.

Posteriormente, me contactaron para asistir al Lara Fest. Fue algo que no me esperaba, pero pude ir a este evento donde me encontré nuevamente con mundomanaure y por primera vez con el señor fermionico.

El Lara Fest fue muy diferente a todos los eventos que habíamos hecho con precedencia, pero fue muy bueno poder tener la oportunidad de ir y ver como todo seguía avanzando en la ciudad. En éste punto me tomé una pausa, vi que efectuaron otras actividades en la ciudad, pero no pude asistir.

At that time, Tsunsica and I were coordinating an activity a few months later in the dean's office of arts and humanities at UCLA; the activity was a success as far as I could see. However, the pressure during those months was very hard, I slept only a few hours a day, and I was dealing with delicate university issues that absorbed most of my time. I really wanted to attend this activity, but I could not. I had to make excuses for the team because of the pressure I was under.

My best moment of the year was the anniversary of the Hiversbqto community. It was a very special day. Something incomparable that cannot be expressed in a few words. We shared as a big team and as a big family. The growth of the community and the personal growth of each one of us were the most remarkable things.

Later, I was contacted to attend the Lara Fest. It was something I did not expect, but I was able to go to this event, where I met again with mundomanaure and for the first time with Mr. fermionico.

The Lara Fest was very different from all the events we had done before, but it was great to have the opportunity to go and see how everything was moving forward in the city. At this point, I took a break. I saw that there were other activities going on in the city, but I was not able to attend.

El reencuentro ocurrió hace unos meses en una actividad para promover y promocionar Liketu. En esta ocasión vino a Barquisimeto, soy-laloreto y lunaticanto. Diversión al mil por ciento. Ésta actividad fue muy buena para mí, me ayudo a calmarme y separarme un poco de lo cotidiano; ya que se avecinaba la defensa de mi trabajo final de carrera profesional y mi graduación.

Cada uno de estos eventos causó en mí un gran aprendizaje, una reflexión y me permitió ver que deseaba hacer este año. Comprendí fuertemente que mi gusto es escribir, crear y si ocurre algo más, bienvenido sea. En cada uno de estos eventos conocí a personas que iniciaban su camino en Hive, que ya tenían largo tiempo o era un reencuentro.

Hive es un ecosistema de socialización, interacción y creación constante. Cada quien decide como desea verse en el futuro. Durante este año entendí que es hora de crear secularmente, de manera diversa y reflejando todos mis gustos. Éste es un blog, mi portafolio y también mi lugar de encuentro personal.

Gracias a todas las personas que han estado junto a mí este año, las que me han apoyado y los proyectos que ayudan a construir neruel. Disfruta, vive y sobre todo sé tú mismo siempre.

At each of these events, I met people who were starting their way in Hive, who already had a long time, or it was a reunion.

Hive is an ecosystem of socialisation, interaction and constant creation. Everyone decides how they want to see themselves in the future. During this year, I understood that it was time to create secularly, in a diverse way, and reflecting all my tastes. This is a blog, my portfolio and also my personal meeting place.
