PhotoChain Challenge 66th Edition - A Nocturnal Beauty

avatar

Hello Hive. This week we welcome the 66th edition of this exciting challenge. Thanks to our host @davidesimoncini we have this contest to look forward to every week. Read all about this challenge here. Come one and come all. Join the fun which I am sure you will after reading about it.

For this week the 2 keywords are:

Square by @qwerrie

and

Eye by @adinapoli

I have been searching for the last 6 days for something I can submit for this edition of the challenge. I read @melinda010100's post for the PhotoChain and I thought it would be cool to have a Feathered Friend theme too. This evening, as I entered the room, I saw this hanging on the wall and I said, "Perfect for the PhotoChain!"

This is an artwork by my daughter, Jacinta, using colored pencils. It is a barnyard owl perched atop a tree branch with the moon and stars as backdrop. This is one of the very few she has left. Most of her works have either been sold or given as gifts to friends and family members. I'm glad this remained here at home as I like this particular artwork of hers. So does my grandson.

Here's a couple of close-up shots of this painting.

The picture frame depicts the Square keyword while the owl's eyes the Eye keyword. For this edition I am submitting the last photo as my entry. My personal keyword is Moon.

And that's it for this edition. Glad I could still make it. Or did I? Anyway thanks for dropping by and I wish you all a wonderful and blessed weekend!

(All photos are mine.)
