Another round of the clean planet biweekly contest have come to an end. this is the third round.

There were many interesting entries to read. The community was flowing with many interesting posts as Authors from the inleo frontend wrote to their heart content. We appreciate each and every one that participated in the prompt.

Their is still chances for it to rain towards the afternoon. Out of the most five weather conditions which includes sunny, rainy, wind, stormy and cloudy, raining season is my best weather condition. During raining season, we have varieties of fruits and crops. Planting and cultivating of crops do happen during raining season. Most of crops harvest do happen then too. For example, maize, yam, African peer, just mention just but a few. Currently, is new yam harvest. So, is easy to get and less expensive now compared during dry season. Raining season comes with foods and fruits. Apart from that, i enjoy my sleep mostly at this season of weather. Once their is sun, you will see rain take over.

Even though harmattan period hold a special place in my heart, I must say I have to acknowledge that I also have a second favorite weather, which is raining season. The gentle shower of the rain which nourish the land, smell of the soil after the rain, how cool the weather look and also the mesmerizing color of the clear sky after it rain, the chirping of birds building their nests,and the gradual awakening of nature from its slumber all makes me like the season.
But if I had to choose, I would say that harmattan holds a particular for me, not everybody like this weather but it always do the wonder and bring the sense of peace and happiness that resonates deeply inside my soul.

I am fortunate and proud to have African parents.The rainy season, of which is my favourite time of year, has a significant impact on the weather in my village of Aknau Ohafia, located in Abia State, Nigeria. The reason for this is because the rainy season is important for farming activities and rearing of animals which are important to our community life.
The rainy season is a time for community, hard labour, and fun.The rains, which normally begin in April and last until October, provide much-needed water to our crops.This season is known by persistent, heavy rainfall, which transforms our surroundings into a lush, green landscape with a wonderful view, the little children, always come out bare footed when there is a strong rain to bathe and play and have fun. It was a great and unforgettable experience growing up. We occasionally throw mould,sing, clap, and tell stories.
