Hello friends and members of Olio di Balena community!
Today is Friday, April 26, and like every Thursday I have a nice and recurring posting task here on Hive: The Olio di Balena-Inleo Weekend Threading Contest which is now in its thirty-fourth week.
The Olio di Balena - Inleo weekend threading contest is the result of a collaboration between the Olio di Balena and InLeo communities and has a double objective:
- create a moment of interaction and sharing among the users of Olio di Balena
- raise knowledge of a useful tool created by Inleo for Hive communities: the Community Threads
Participating in the Olio di Balena - InLeo Weekend Threading Contest is very simple and in this post you will find everything you need to quickly understand how to participate:

Contest Rules
Rule 1:
You must create a Thread within the Olio di Balena community = a thread with tag #oliodibalena.
Rule 2:
Write a community thread and answer the question: What is your hobby/activity that you like to do in your spare time? Remember to also include a photo/image in your thread
Rule 3:
Your thread must also contain 1 photo or 1 image or 1 screenshot related to the topic of the contest. The photo/image must be your own, it can be a photo/image you have in your photo archive but you cannot use a photo taken from the web even if it is copyright free and you cannot use AI generated photos.
Threads containing only a photo or only text will not be considered.
Rule 4:
you can choose to write your thread in Italian language or English language or both.
Rule 5:
you must be a member of the Olio di Balena community.
Contest Prizes
Interaction Prizes: 10 LEO for each of the authors of the 5 Threads that receive the most comments (prizes offered by Inleo)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the contest will have 4 or fewer entries, LEO prizes will not be awarded. Instead, prizes in HBD will always be awarded.Prizes awarded by drawing: 3 Threads will be chosen randomly and win 1 HBD each (prizes offered by the Olio di Balena community)
The best threads may also have a chance to be voted by Inleo
Consolation Prize: For every 5 participants I will add a prize of 1 LEO that I will award by drawing to participants who did not receive one of the previous two prizes..
Important Note: max 1 prize per participant!
In each contest I will award the most valuable prize between 10 LEOs and 1 HBD first. Those who received the highest value prize will be excluded from awarding the other prizes.
More winners = more incentive and fun for participants!
The total prizepool of this week's mini contest has a total value = 50 LEO (=13.34 HIVE) + 3 HBD (= 8.94 HIVE) = 22.29 HIVE = 7.33$ + a variable prize in LEO depending on the number of participants (+1 LEO for every 5 participants).
How to Create a Thread in Olio di Balena
(Step-by-step guide)
A Thread is a Twitter-style post created and stored on the Hive blockchain through the use of the Inleo User Interface (UI)
A Community Thread is a thread posted within a Hive community and viewable within the Communities->"Community Name"->Threads section of the Inleo UI.
Olio di Balena community threads can be created and viewed within the Threads section of the page: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620
A thread is viewable in the Olio di Balena community if it contains the tag #oliodibalena
Creating a Community Thread is a very simple task and I will show you the steps to follow.
Step 1: Login to Inleo.
Step 1.1: You have to go to https://inleo.io/ and then you have to click on Log in
Step 1.2: On the next screen you have several log in options to choose from including: LeoAuth, QR Code, Hivesigner, Hive Keychain
Log in with Hive KeyChain: You have to enter your Hive username, then you have to click on Log in and then you have to click on Confirm within the Hive Keychain screen.
Log in with LeoAuth: You have to enter your Hive username, your Posting Key and then you have to click on Log in.
Step 2: Enter the Home Page of the Olio di Balena.
- Step 2.1: You need to click on Communities.
- Step 2.2: You must enter "Olio di Balena" or part of the name in the search field.
- Step 2.3: You must click on the box that contains the logo and name of Olio di Balena
- Alternative Step 2: you need to go directly to the link: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620
Step 3: Create and post the Contest Participation Thread.
- Step 3.1: Within the Home Page of Olio di Balena you need to click on Threads
- Step 3.2: Then you need to enter the text of your thread in the box that contains the #oliodibalena tag
- Step 3.3: Then you need to click on Thread in the bottom right corner.
Operation completed! Easy right? ;)
Now all you have to do is participate in this nice mini contest ;)
Advice: If the text of your thread exceeds the maximum capacity of a single thread you can also write a threadstorm.
In this case only in the first thread you have to insert:
- the tag oliodibalena
- the tag threadstorm
- the 1/x indication where x is the number of threads your threadstorm contains.
All other threads after the first one you must enter them as comments to your first thread indicating for each thread the number of the tread such as 2/5, 3/5, ... 5/5

In the following image you can see the threadstorm (consisting of 1 thread + 3 comments to my thread) that I created for the Odb-Inleo contest a few weeks ago.
The Participants and the Announcement of the Winners of the 33th edition of the Weekend Contest (April 18, 2024 - April 22, 2024)
There are four options for viewing threads with the #oildibalena tag:
- Option 1: you have to go to https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620 and then click on Threads.
- Option 2: you have to go to https://inleo.io/threads/tag/oliodibalena
- Option 3: you have to go to https://labs.inleo.io/threads/tag/oliodibalena
- Option 4: you can use the Search threads feature where you have to enter the tag oliodibalena without the # symbol
I used the Search threads function (option 4) because there are still technical problems (not all threads are displayed) in using the more convenient search by tag (option 3).
After the record number of participants in contest number 31 (21 participants) and the 9 participants in contest number 32, in contest number 33 participation increased: 17 participants.

Now comes the most pleasant moment of the weekend threading contest: awarding prizes to participants!
According to the new prize awarding mechanism that is active starting with contest number 30 I will award the most valuable prizes first through a value comparison between 10 LEO and 1 HBD.
Today, April 24, 2024:
- 10 LEO = 2.66 SWAP.HIVE = $0.87 (highest bid value on Hive Engine)
- 1 HBD = 2.98 HIVE = $0.98 (Hive internal market)
So I first proceed to assign the 3 prizes of 1 HBD each.

Inserisci una foto/immagine/screenshot inerente all'argomento del contest. La foto/immagine deve essere tua, può essere una foto/immagine che hai nel tuo archivio fotografico ma non puoi utilizzare una foto presa dal web anche se è senza copyright e non puoi utilizzare foto generate da AI.
I threads contenenti solo una foto/immagine o solo testo non saranno presi in considerazione.
Regola 4:
Puoi scegliere di scrivere il tuo thread in lingua italiana o in lingua inglese o in entrambe le lingue.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Se il contest avrà un numero di partecipazioni uguale o inferiore a 4, i premi in LEO non saranno assegnati. Verranno invece sempre assegnati i premi in HBD.Premio assegnato per estrazione: 3 Threads saranno scelti in modo casuale e vinceranno 1 HBD ognuno (premi offerti dalla comunità di Olio di Balena)
I thread più belli potrebbero avere anche una chance di essere votati da Inleo
Premio di consolazione: Per ogni 5 partecipanti aggiungerò un premio di 1 LEO che assegnerò tramite estrazione ai partecipanti che non hanno ricevuto uno dei due precedenti premi.
Nota Importante: max 1 premio per partecipante!
In ogni contest assegnerò prima il premio di maggior valore tra 10 LEO e 1 HBD. Chi ha ricevuto il premio di maggior valore sarà escluso dall'assegnazione degli altri premi.

Un Thread è un post Twitter-style creato e memorizzato sulla blockchain di Hive tramite l'utilizzo della Inleo User Interface (UI)
Un Community Thread è un thread pubblicato all'interno di una comunità di Hive e visualizzabile all'interno della sezione Communities->"Nome Comunità"->Threads della Inleo UI.
I Community threads della comunità di Olio di Balena possono essere creati e visualizzati nella sezione Threads della pagina: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620
Nota Importante: Un thread è visualizzabile nella comunità di Olio di Balena se contiene il tag #oliodibalena
Creare un Community Thread è un'operazione molto semplice e ti mostro i passi da seguire.
Passo 1: Login su InLeo
- Passo 1.1: Devi andare su https://inleo.io/ e poi devi cliccare su Log in
Passo 1.2: Nella schermata successiva hai diverse opzioni di log in tra cui scegliere tra cui: LeoAuth, QR Code, Hivesigner, Hive Keychain
Log in con Hive KeyChain: Devi inserire il tuo Hive username, poi devi cliccare su Log in e poi devi cliccare su Confirm all'interno della schermata di Hive Keychain.
LeoAuth: Devi inserire il tuo Hive username, la tua Posting Key e poi devi cliccare su Log in.
Passo 2: Entrare nella Home Page della comunità di Olio di Balena
- Passo 2.1: Devi cliccare su Communities
- Passo 2.2: Devi inserire nel campo di ricerca "Olio di Balena" o parte del nome.
- Passo 2.3: Devi cliccare sul riquadro che contiene il logo e il nome di Olio di Balena
- Passo 2 alternativo: devi andare direttamente al link: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620
Passo 3: Creare e pubblicare il Thread di partecipazione al mini contest.
- Passo 3.1: All'interno della Home Page di Olio di Balena devi cliccare su Threads
- Passo 3.2: Poi devi inserire il testo del tuo thread nel riquadro che contiene il tag #oliodibalena
- Passo 3.3: Poi devi cliccare su Thread in basso a destra.
Operazione completata! Facile vero? ;)
Adesso non devi fare altro che partecipare a questo bel mini contest ;)
Consiglio: Se il testo del tuo thread è superiore alla capienza massima di un singolo thread puoi anche scrivere un threadstorm= 1 Thread + 1 fino a x commenti al primo thread.
In questo caso:
- Nel primo thread devi inserire due tag:
- il tag oliodibalena
- il tag threadstorm
- l'indicazione 1/x dove x è il numero delle parti (threads) che contiene il tuo threadstorm.
- Tutti gli altri threads devi inserirli come commenti al tuo primo thread indicando per ogni thread il numero del tread come ad esempio 2/5, 3/5, ... 5/5

Io ho utilizzato la funzione Search threads (opzione 4) perchè ci sono ancora dei problemi tecnici (non vengono visualizzati tutti i threads) nell'utilizzo della più comoda ricerca per tag (opzione 3).
Dopo il record di partecipanti nel contest numero 31 (21 partecipanti) e i 9 partecipanti nel contest numero 32, nel contest numero 33 le partecipazioni sono aumentate: 17 partecipanti.

Caro amico, mi sa che anche questa volta passo. Sono settimane ancora più incasinate di quanto previsto e data la felice premessa, la tematica Qual'è il tuo hobby/attività che ti piace fare nel tuo tempo libero? casca a pennello come il cacio sui maccheroni🤣:
Il tempo libero quando fai le tre e pure le quattro del mattino, fa come minimo scompisciare🤣:
Pur con la specializzazione in dirittura d'arrivo (praticamente manca soltanto più il certificato di conclusione fisico e la prossima settimana devo contattare l'università per informarmi sui passaggi da effettuare per farmelo spedire a casa, dato che quando frequenti una università telematica non ti rechi sul posto e ci manca dover prendere l'aereo, poi pernottamento perchè si trova in un altro Stato), gli obblighi burocratici non sono mica terminati (e ti pareva🤣). Le meraviglie dell'averci una persona giuridica aperta sono molteplici🤣:
E ora dunque il governo se n'è spuntato fuori con l'obbligo per tutte le persone giuridiche, comprese le nane in terza battuta, di effettuare l'ennesima iscrizione a questo e quel portale (in questo caso non gli si può dare torto, perchè senza queste iscrizioni, parecchi ingenui, magari non per loro colpa, ma per colpa della scarsa scolarizzazione, cascano vittime di frodi da parte di organizzazioni criminali che si fingono funzionari governativi e allora perdono benefici e pure denaro). L'affare però non è stato divulgato dagli organi periferici responsabili delle nanoimprese, con la conseguenza che oggi ho trascorso la giornata dietro questa burocrazia. L'obbligo di iscrizione scadrebbe infatti il primo di maggio e le partite IVA imprenditoriali che non si iscrivono poi rischiano una multa dell'ammontare fino a duemila e fischia. Dico scadrebbe perchè per un errore di battitura del sito dei commercialisti che si sono presi la premura di divulgare la notizia (anche se non toccava affatto a loro), sembrerebbe che l'obbligo di iscriversi per i nanoimprenditori inizi il primo di maggio anzichè scadere (dovrebbe invece scadere per le medie e grandi imprese). Onde evitare inconvenienti, ho comunque iscritto la nana e ora sto già spompata, ma vabbè, si sa, che se hai un'impresa aperta, devi starci dietro come a un neonato urlante e scalciante:

Ps.: in questo periodo, l'altra attività, quella del voto al migliore autore della settimana è ben più tranquilla e mi spiacerebbe se come dicevi l'altra volta, ti toccasse chiuderla (peccato, iniziavo a divertirmi tra voti e letture🐣, ma pazienza)

Temo che se hai un'impresa aperta, per quanto microscopica, devi stare dietro alla burocrazia in continuazione. In pratica, sei considerato un datore di lavoro anche se non hai dipendenti (ma potresti sempre averne perchè per legge anche le microscopiche possono contrattare un dipendente, anche se ovviamente per la mia attività d'insegnamento o qui sopra non serve affatto). Ci sono comunque purtroppo troppe frodi e senza queste iscrizioni chi ha poca istruzione casca vittima di furto di dati e perde benefici e denaro. Era successo pure a mia suocera e senza impresa aperta. Un'organizzazione criminale la stava truffando per derubarla della pensione facendosi passare per funzionari del governo.
Ps.: la tranquillità è per i pensionati e per i lavoratori dipendenti
