I made it!
Hello everyone, We all have found ourselves in a situation whereby we think some things can’t be possible again or when we can’t find a solution to a particular problem. According to this week’s prompt, I would love to talk about a situation where I turned a negative situation to a positive outcome.
I have found myself in several situation that I already gave up on myself, not until I made a decision that, I can still make it. Few years ago, when I was still in the university. It was my final year where I was very sick and needed to go through a surgery. It was my final exam and I had just one week to my final exam. Already, I lost hope that I cannot graduate with my mates because it was too late.
All my friends will come to the hospital to greet me, my mum came around to stay with me. Even after the surgery, I thought I will be fine enough to go for my exam but I was still very sick and I couldn’t do anything. I was already hopeless but there was this second thought in me that made me have a rethink that I can still make it.
I had to leave the hospital a day to my first paper to prepare myself ahead of the exam. With the determination in mind and the pain I felt that period, I strived so hard to prepare for the exam. And I had this thought in mind that I will turn this negative situation to the positive outcome. I got out with good grade. If I had given up on myself, it’s likely I will have an extra year in school.
Thanks so much for this great topic. And I hope you gain something from my experience. It’s not about the situation I found myself but about the positive outcome.
Oh, that must have been hard. Sorry about that
