Captain Katie: week 320 splinterlands contest

When I ran into this character I thought it was a school girl because it really looks like one of those school uniforms and also looks like a cow girl we see in movies wearing white shirt and black jumpsuit.
As I was drawing this character, the shirt which is supposed to be coloured white was about to be done and I couldn't colour a shirt white with a white background so I had to make the background red in order to be sure of what I am doing, after doing the shade of the shirt and the colouring of the shirt I discovered that the red which I wanted to get rid off made the drawing vibrant as it was the background so I left it, and I didn't want to make the background just plain red that was why I put and oval red coloured shape to support it.
Captain katie so far is a catchy card for me but so far I thought she would be a captain of a ship but I can't see a ship in the card.
Drawing this was an interesting way of letting some time burn out.
