Monomad challenge - BW - bird photography
I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW - bird photography
I still photograph birds whenever I get the chance. In the new environment we've been in for a little over a month, I still haven't gone exclusively to look around and photograph birds, but only occasionally during walks or from the window.
I miss the long-eared owls the most, as they were easy to watch and photograph in the former city where we resided. Hundreds of these birds of prey can be found throughout the city square's deciduous trees, and because they rest during the day, they make ideal 'prey' for photographers.
Owls, as a tourist attraction and municipal icon, have aroused the curiosity of a diverse range of people, from amateurs to experts. Their accessibility enables nearly anybody to capture a satisfying shot.
Currently, due to business and personal commitments, I am not able to set aside a few days to visit locations where I would observe a large number of bird species. So I content myself with casually photographing the most numerous and common species found everywhere in the city. Pigeons, sparrows, and birds from the crow family are among the most numerous birds in the city environment.
Right next to the building where we live, there is a nesting colony of rooks and jackdaws. I can observe a part of this colony from the window, so I hope that in the coming period I will photograph the development of the birds from the egg to flying out of the nest.
